Dry hair question
Hi Nona,
My hair is dry and brittle too. A hairdresser friend recommended a product called Nioxin to me.. The restructure complex .. you leave it on your hair for about 10 minutes and rinse..I tried it, but honestly didnt leave it on for 10 minutes. I didnt see that much of a difference.. also Nexus puts out a hair vitamin , but I think it's just a matter of time before our manes are back in shape..
Good luck
Elaine
My hair is coming back but it is finer than before. Of course the surgery caused stress (hair loss) and then I finished the "womanly transition" at the same time I had surgery, so decrease in hormones........I live in South FL and love the sun and I changed from being a brunette to highlights and now, practically blonde. I guess I've stressed my locks to the max.
I've started taking biotin twice a day and giving my hair a hot towel/conditioner treatment once a week. I hope it helps. That's my only suggestion.

Hi there Nona, How are you doing? I take biotin from the Vitamin Shoppe 5 mg. I been taking it regularly and it seems to have my hair growing and the bald spots are filling in now. I have dry hair anyway so I keep it conditioned all the time.
I have a girlfriend who has begun to take the Biotin and she says she sees the difference already. I hope you purchase it and it works for you too.
Have a great weekend Nona and enjoy life.

Hi everyone. Thanks for the help. Tried Nioxin, didn't help. Already take Biotin. Have been for months. Am going to try the Omega oils. I read that they are goof for skin and hair especially when they are dry.
My daughter is in rehab. She has a little movement in her feet, but not much. She is to go home next week, if they can finish the house. Accessible bathroom, ramp and even the floor with no carpeting. A lot of work, but folks around here are donating supplies and time. It's really great. They can use the help.
