I need some support
Hi Everyone,
I seem to be having some problems and sort of fell off the wagon here. Ok, what is going on with my body is i was 555 when I had the surgery, im down to 395 - so ive lost 160lbs. For the last few months when I wake up my pouch feels hard, and gets really sore if I exercise or go shopping, just basically walking around. First off, has anyone had that happen to them? Where no matter what they've ate or drank that day their pouch will just instant become hard and ache?? Second, Sometimes I'll eat stuff I know im not suppose to, so to prevent that from happeing I went back onto weigh****chers - which is SO much easier when you have a little pouch for a stomach, but I can get down an entire WW Frozen Meal and have no real discomfort and they are each about 8 - 10 oz each which scares me. Then an hour later im hungry again. Im so very confussed about the way my body's acting, and the pain and what not. I know that I shouldnt be able to eat more than 4 oz, yet I can get 10 down and its freaking me out. My weight has been hovering for the last month, but thats because i gained some water weight in my legs and have swelling. Im averaging losing 5-10 lbs a month right now. Does anyone have any advice for me? Im really getting scared, and I don't want to start gaining weight again, I need to loose 30lbs by june, which im trying my damndest, but its hard to do when your in pain. If anyone has had this type of pain and has any idea what it is PLEASE Respond. I have gone into the doctor and they ran a cat scan and are going to be running other test. I just want to know if im the only one this has happened too.
Thanks.
Jessica
The CAT scan will show if it's a hernia. I can eat an 8-10 oz Tv dinner now too. Sometimes. Sometimes not. I worry I can eat too much now too. i am down 155 and want to lose 45 more but have been at a standstill for pretty much 6 weeks now. I know I need to eat less or exercise more. I am hoping with the warmer weather coming soon I will get more exercise in. I guess this isn't very helpful but I do wish you the best!
Thanks so much, atleast im not the only one, so im not feeling to bad. I need to exercise but im scared to because of the pain, and if it is a hernia i dont want it to come back. the cat scan didnt show anything but my doctor is squeezing me in on thursday cuz he is worried about me still having pain. sounds like they might just do some exploritory or something. which scares me.
Thanks again!
Jessica
Jessica, I hope your health problems will be solved. I had terrible pains and all tests showed nothing. The pains started from April 2004 and finally ended in September 2004, when I let my Dr. go back inside and see. I had an inner hernia that could not be seen on any tests.I had barium swallows, cat scans and nothing came up. I hope they find what is wrong with you. Having pain is no fun. My pains radiated into my back. I thought I would die. I finally agreed to surgery once the pain became unbearable.
Your weight loss is wonderful to you.

Jessica, Hi there I am sure you will find out what is wrong with you. I thought they would never find where my pain was coming from. I had no myself. I am so glad I let them go in and look.
Yes, Drinking liquids have changed alot for me. I now can have a bit of liquid with my meals. I could not before. If I don't snack in between meals I can eat and drink better.I think drinking liquids are great especially water.
Keep up your great work girl. Lorrraine
