Are you still loosing?
Since we are all post op around the same time I was wondering what weight loss have you had for the month of December and January?
I know I was told that your body slows down about 15-18 months. I am surprised that I am still losing.
So here is mine.... December -7 lbs
January-3 lbs so far
Karie -128lbs
I have not lost any weight in about 6 months. I have lost 80 pounds and have stayed at 145 pounds. I guess my body just loves this weight. I know that I need to excercise more than what I do. I am happy for the weight loss but would like to be at 135. I am starting to look for a PS. I hope to have a breast lift and reduction. Who knows maybe that will jump start me into loosing again.
Oh well, I am still pleased with having the surgery. I would have it again if the surgeon had to come to my house and cut me open with a butter knife on my own dining room table!!!
Nice to know someone is still loosing!

Yes, I'm still losing and almost at my new pre-plastic surgery goal of 148.
at 12 mos - lost another 10 lbs
at 13 mos - lost another 6 lbs
I've lost 2 pounds since Jan 12th.
2 more pounds to my pre-plastic surgery goal of 148 lbs. I'll lose at least 10 lbs after my LBL putting me around 138 lbs. At 5' 7", that's pretty good, giving me a total weight loss of at least 209 lbs since surgery (I started at 347 lbs).
Have you reached your goal yet? What did you start at?
Hi Karie
I hit 125lbs in mid October and now sit at 122. So I am still losing, about 1lb per month. I am 5'4" and have lost 123lbs to fit into a size 4/6. Iam okay with not losing more, but am terified of regaining any weight. I guess that I dont know what i will do when the numbers stop going down. My whole life has been about trying to lose-maintaining is the hard part.
Are you below goal now? Do I recall that you are looking into PS? My PS will remove 3-5lbs so that will bring me on the low end of "normal" weight for my height. Ekkkkkk, amazing huh
Have a great weekend kimberly
Hi Kimberly, Well I guess I am at goal. The goal I set for myself was 145 which my doctor said would be good. I am 5"5 and weight 136 right now started out at 264. Yes, I have been looking into plastics. I am gonna have a TT sometime this year. I have been going to the doctor and getting stuff documented on paper so we can submitt it to my insurance. My doctor is very supportive and knows that insurance is just a pain in the rear with some of this stuff they want. My plastic surgeon said I would lose 7-10lbs from a TT. So I would personaly like to lose 6 more pounds to be at 130. I am in a size 4/6 and started out in a size 24/26...AMAZINg is it not.
Keep up the good work! Are you looking into any plastics? Oh, I need the breast lifted and a implant too! I now have pancakes for breast! I h ave to pay for that out of pocket.
Have a great day!
karie
It's me again
I am scheduled for my TT and Breast Lift on March 22nd....OMGosh, thats only 2 months away I will be seeing my PS on Feb 3rd to talk about implants too. There is nothing left of my poor boobies I am still not sure that I want implants but, I dont want to be flat chested either.
My HMO won't cover PS so I am self pay. For the TT, BL and some lipo, my quote was $13,800. Add another $3500 for implants.
I feel so selfish spending that kind of money on me, I guess it's a momma thing. Just need to convince myself that I AM WORTH IT.
Kimberly
kimberly,
WOw that day is coming soon! I know what you mean about spending that kind of money but you are worth it! I can tell you from speaking to some plastic surgeons they highly recommend getting the implants. We lose all our fatty like tissue and fullness of the breast. Not to mention after breast feeding and baring children we lose that perkyness! I am going to get implants for sure when I get the boob thing done. I was like a 56 DD before surgery and now I am like a 36c....and its more like I have a pancake for a breast with a little blueberry on it!
My insurance will pay for the TT but I will have to pay for the boob lift and implants. You are worth it...and don't forget it!
Karie
No.........dammit. But I'm hoping that's going to change. I started with a dietician and am changing some of my eating and adding 2 shakes a day. I was up to 198 and am down to 194.5 this morning. I"ve been as low as 194, but never lower since surgery, so we'll see how things go by Monday. But I do feel better. More energy and am sleeping a little better. I wasn't sleeping at all well before and was tired all the time.
