This is my one year anniversary.

I really can't beleive it's been a year already. I have lost 116 lbs and still have 27 to go. I will make it. I have my one check up on January 4th and will talk to my Dr about seeing a PS and finding out what insurance will pay for. I worry since they have new criteria just to have WLS that they will give me a hard time trying to have recontructive surgery. I am a tad depressed about what I see in the stomach area. It looks awful and what I see when I sit down looks like I never lost any weight. I need to get rid of all this skin that is on my stomach. I will be fine. I put on my ignore a lot when it comes to that area and just wear what I want to wear and what I am comfortable in. I an feeling good about what I have lost. I feel great and have a job now. I looked for over a year before surgery and no one would hire, they don't discriminate my butt! After I lost over 100 lbs I finally got a job at Sears. I had never applied there so I can't include them in my previous searches. I am on my feet for 6 hours or more and I have no problems except for some achy bones by the time I get home. A nice hot bath usually fixes that. What a difference a year makes! God Bless and Meryy Christmas! Chelle -117

Hey happy rebirthday to you! Today is my 1 year annivarsary too. I am down 150lbs and want to lose 50 more. I hope I can. Congratulations on your job too. That is great. I know they do discriminate for weight a lot. I am a nurse so never have trouble finding something but it was not always my first choice. Have a happy holiday, Cathy
