well it's been a year now
I am back from Las Vegas, had a good time but I was sick with a flu type thing while there so that kind of slowed me down. I had my one year anniversary of my surgery, we went out to a nice dinner buffet, kind of funny since a few bites filled me up, then a great show at the Rio. I am down 129 pounds with 6 more to go to my goal of weighing 125 and now wearing a size 8, I would like to be in a six but unless I can come up with the money for plastics I dont think that will happen. Maybe if I quit being lazy and start a regular exercise routine would help too, I am thinking of going back to water aerobics again since that was something I enjoyed. My kids were happy to see us after 5 days away, the break was nice but I missed them, especially my baby that I had to quit nursing for the trip. I tried again when we got back but he wasn't interested, I guess it was time anyways, he will be 2 in April. I am surprised how much different vacations are now after surgery, they used to be alot about eating and I would always gain weight on them, this time I either stayed the same, I haven't been on the scale yet, or lost. Food just doesn't seem that important anymore when you can only eat such small quantities of it. I am glad I decided on this surgery it has changed my life.
Kelly
Congrats Kelly on your wonderful success. And yes vacations are different now. I got back from Vegas about 4 weeks ago. What a blast. We walked the strip and I didn't have to rest or breath heavy. I run these steps all day and never tire out. It amazes me. Keep up the great work and God bless.
