Hi there to all my friends here on this message board. Whats new with you new guys is a subject I thought we could all talk about. For me all that is new, is that I went back to work. It felt good to get back and boy could I use that first paycheck. I wore a binder on my stomach because I need the support when I lift. That hernia surgery was a hard one to get over. Everyone was glad to see me. I had my grand daughters christening and had a great time there on Sunday. I had on my new size 6 outfit and saw relatives I had not seen in one year. I feel I did not have to like I usually used to do. I enjoyed it very much. The food , the buffet was hard, but I am adjusting well. Well that is what is new with me...One more thing. I have met I think Mr Right and WOW I am in heaven, He is a gentleman and I hope it works out for me. I am 52 and looking for a partner to grow old with.We are dating and enjoying it so much. is it in the air? Have a great day and tell me WHAT IS NEW WITH YOU?... Lorraine

Hi Lorraine, Tomorrow is my big day. I meet with the surgeon and he will tell me good or bad news. I'm sure it'll be good. We bought a new dishwasher, as my poor old Kenmore finally died. Had it for 10 years. New one's a GE. HOpe it lasts as long. Need some work on my car. The back up lights quit working. Hope it's just the bulbs. My eating isn't good. Too much stress. I'm eating way too much food and a lot of bad stuff. I know it's the stress. Hopefully after tomorrow, I can get that under control. No weight gain, but no loss, either. But I'm steady. I guess that's a good thing. Nona

Hi I am getting ready to make thanksgiving dinner here in 2 days. When your tummy is so small its hard to judge what everyone else will eat. I tend to make less now for dinner which my DH, and 2 boys eat me out of house and home! I go next tuesday for my 1 year check up. I am going to ask my surgeon to help me get my TT approved. He mentioned one time he would help me with that so I am going to take him up on it. Down a few more pounds...-119 now. My size 8 are getting loose so I maybe shrinking into a new size here. Take care! Karie

Hey Lorraine, My granddaughter "arrived" a week early so I've been busy with "grandma duty" for the last several days. I picked up my youngest daughter at college and brought her home for the holiday and weekend. We will all travel to the oldest daughter's home in Port St. Lucie for Thanksgiving dinner. I'll spend the day tomorrow baking pies and cooking casseroles. I had the funniest thing happen on Sunday. My husband was invited to speak at a church we hadn't been to in about a year. One of the ladies we knew greeted us both and I knew she looked at me rather odd but I thought it was just because of the weight loss. Well, she comes back to me in about 15 minutes smiling and apologizing. She thought my husband had a "new wife". She was so cute. (DH and I have been married over 32 years.) I've lost another pound and I'm not real thrilled about it. (Never thought I would say that!) I couldn't even guess when I last weighed 119. Happy Thanksgiving. LuvitsunnyV@goal

I am so happy to here that you met Mr. Right. Nothing is better then a true gentleman. My 16 year old twins just finished up their last performance of "Snow Angel" It was really fun for me because they had the leads opposite each other. Also my best friend was able to go with me. She has 7 children and is an RN wound care specialist so we barely get to see each other any more. I watch my grand-daughter, Olivia, everyday and I am planning a baby shower for my oldest daughter for January. She is due just a few days after Olivia's birthday in February. My girls and I are making Thanksgiving dinner together and I love football! (Packers and Steelers fan...I took a bet before the season started on the Steelers and everyone thought I was crazy) I am playing World of Warcraft online for a few hours in the evening. It's really fun so far. May the Lord bless each one of you this Thanksgiving. Every day I have so much to be grateful for. I don't ever forget about what people write here and I pray about you and think about you throughout my days.

Hello Everyone Wow, have things been busy here. I don't get much time to post, but I do try to read every few days. It is good to hear from everyone! In the last 6 weeks I have only lost 3-4 lbs. I now sit at 123 with a BMI of 21.1. Wearing a size 4-6. I am greatful that my loss is nearing the end as I don't want to go below 120. I am scheduled for a TT and Breast Lift in March and have been researching implants as well. I never thought I'd want, let alone NEED implants but after nursing 3 children and WLS there is not much left. Just loooonnngggg droopy puppy dog ears I have gone back to work after 6 years at home with my children. I had been wanting to "do something" and thought I'd be luck to get a job in retail for the holiday season. BUT, my past experience in a Drs office paid off and I was hired as a Unit Coordinator for the Critical Care Unit of our local hospital. I work 2 12 hour nights per week so I am still home with my kidos durring the day. AND I get great pay and full benefits. I feel very blessed that this position came my way. I love being out there among adults again and feel like I make a difference. I don't have to cook tomorrow. My 79 year old grandfather has decided that he has never hosted dinner and we are all (19 of us) going to his house. He refuses to let us bring anything or help with the prep. In all his 79 years this is the 1st turkey he has ever cooked My Christmas shopping is in progress. My kids are so spoiled that I am trying to cut back this year. Besides I am enjoying spending a little on me this year....clothes shopping has become my downfall. Have a great day my December friends!!! Kimberly
