Heartburn

Hello everyone: I haven't been here in months...I am so glad to hear that everyone is doing so well!!! I have lost 105lbs. and am feeling great. Except for one little hitch....I have been having heartburn over the last month. My gallbladder is out so i know it is not that....Any ideas?? I don't think this is normal for us...let me know if it is and I will stop worrying. Thanks! Congrats to everyone!!!! Jean

I"ve been experiencing that too, but mostly when I eat red meat. So I don't eat red meat, or very rarely. Nona

You probably want to call your surgeon. I have had burnign all along. some of it has been strictures and he did treat me for H pylori which helped the msot. However it has crept back. Now he has me taking prilosec. Alice

Do you think your burning is caused by an ulcer? You take any pepcid? Call your doc Sherry

Hi there Jean, How is life? I sure hope it is good at this time.I am just enjoying life and hope you are also. I had hernia surgery in September. I had stomach pains and it radiated into my back. I had a bit of trouble digesting food, but I have never had heartburn.I am on Pepcid, but I think that now my hernia is fixed my Dr will take me off of that. I would consult with your Dr.We can advise you but its only your Dr who can really give you the best advice. Thanks for the congrads.
