Cold affecting you differently this year???

Hello all, Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....It's 54 degrees here in the SUNSHINE STATE! You may laugh, but I'm freezing!!! I wonder if anyone else is feelilng the cold more this year. I have always been one to get cold faster than everyone around me, but this year I'm cold all the time! If it gets below 75 degrees, I'm cold! I wore thigh high THICK socks, jeans a cheneile sweater AND a down filled coat to walk to the bus stop this morning and I put the hood on too! Brrrrrrrrrrr Anyone else out there cold? Tracy

I think our insulation has melted away! I stay cold all the time. It is abour 56 degrees here and I couldn't stand at the bus stop with my girls. I had to watch from the window. I guess it is time to dig out the ole jacket (if it fits). I did get one on ebay the other day. Pretty good deal too. I just hope it fits and gets here soon. Rhonda PS. Tracy, Hi and good seeing you. My family seems to think its in my head. I now wear layers of clothes and when I travel upstate I bring my own electric blanket. I never wore sweaters now I do. My best friend keeps saying that something is wrong with me being so cold. My bloodwork is perfect. I tried to tell her I have lost half of my body. She laughs at me. Boy, do I know what you're feeling. I am so cold all the time. I wear a t-shirt, a long sleeved tee and a sweater in my office, or I have the heat up to 80. My poor DH is roasting at home. I keep it so warm he runs around in shorts. Not that I mind, he has great legs. LOL. What am I doing to do when it snows? It gets below zero here a lot and the wind just howls. Maybe by next year, after we're stableized our internal thermostats will be better. I hope. Nona

I am always cold now...I used to freeze my hubby out with the fans a/c etc...Now I want a heating blanket! Not to mention I never really wore a winter coat. I have bought myslef 2 winter coats this year! karie

Hey girl! Yes, I too am freezing to death. My DH says its like cuddling up to a butter ball turkey. My hands and feet are always like ice. I live in LA and it doesn't get too cold here, like you but there has been a little nip in the air at 49 degrees to about 77 each day for the last few days. I have to dress in layers and keep a sweater with me at work and one in the car at all times. I used to be hot all the time and keep two to three fans on plus the a/c on about 68, not anymore. My hubby and I fight all the time about it being on 80 and me still cold with the fan on... Ha/ha. Ive already asked him for an electric blanket and one of those zip up footed pjs to wear around the house. Have a good week! Staci

It is For sure that cold is effecting me differently-- that's why I don't care to leave Miami this year to visit in KY and TN. If I'm cold here I can't imagine what it will take to keep me warm there. LuvitsunnyV@goal
