Have you started you XMAS Shopping?
Hi there to everybody,
Now that the holidays are approaching has anyone starting shopping?
I have. I don't think I would have started yet but since I am home, and out of work now I have started. I don't like crowds so the stores are perfect at this time.;
Are your family members and friends asking you already what do you want for XMAS?
Yes my friends and family are asking. My answer......CLOTHES OR GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE FINE.I am sure none of us can wear our last years clothes.
What are your plans this year for XMAS? Are you dreading as I am all the food with the holiday gatherings?
My plans are to be with family as I do every year.
Yes I am dreading all the food. Oh God. I sure hope I can handle it.
Have a great weekend Lorraine
I have already put some stuff for my kids on lay away at Wal-Mart. That is about as far as I have gotten.
My husband has asked what I wanted for Christmas and I tell him the same thing as you....CLOTHES!!
Believe it or not I am not worried too much about all the food. We usually have Thanksgiving and Christmas at my house with my husband's people so by the time it is over I don't want any.
Have a good weekend!

I am done shopping my my 2 boys. My husband is a UPS driver and it really gets crazy around our house during the Holidays so I have ALWAYS been an early shopper.
I am not worried about food....we have thanksgiving at our house. I find myself not really OVER cooking...like too much food.
I tell you what...I am excited for Christmas for myself this year. My husband can finally buy me something w/o wondering if it will be TOO SMALL! I was at the store today and got a new pair of jeans...size 8!
talk to you later.

I started some today....tryign tog et the little things outs of the way. Last year I was completely ready for Chrsitmas by my Dec 4th surgery and the holidays were quite enjoyable...Not sure that will happen again but I am going to give it a try!!
I have found alot of gorgeous Christmas sweaters at thrift stores. I was most sad about not having any and knowing how pricey they are. I now have quite a collection. my DH used the word addict....but at thrift stores I think its ok..

I love the used childrens clothing stores, they just put out their fancy dresses for the holidays and I traded some outgrown clothes in and went nuts for my 3 girls, left there with 4-5 dresses each. They will be great for church. One of them still had the original tags and a hat attached marked 44.99 and they sold it for 6.99, I was thrilled. My girls and I came home and they did a fashion show for daddy. I wish I could find things I like for myself at the thrift stores but alot of the stuff in the stores here is pretty outdated, I just shop the clearance racks at Ross! I did buy a pair of pants last night at Walmart, I couldn't believe it, they were a juniors size 7, I never thought after 5 kids I would see the single digits again, I'm loving it! Hubby is too.

I know what you mean. I had 3 c-sections and never thought I could do it either. I got into a size 6! Lorraine and I have a perfect place to get clothes...OLD NAVY!!! I go atleast once a week. I might not buy a damn thing but I sure love to try on their clothes and I hit the clearence racks! I am starting to know the salespeople by name! LOL One of them even asks, so does it fit or is it tooo big?
I finally saw a new picture of me. I was so stunned that I asked my husband if I really looked like that. He said well yeah! I was so pleased. He told me last night that I have some pretty legs. Can't they just be so sweet.
Have a nice Sunday!

PS. Do you have to have a scanner to put up your pic on here? I don't want to be a faceless person anymore.
