From Bad to Worse
Oh man......I will be praying for you dear!!!!! What is with the luck us Dec folks are having??? I hope it turns out to be nothing, like you said, you are already dealing with enough! I have a sneeky suspicion you a are very strong lady and will be fine either way! ~now on the other hand I am kinda scared.....I went to my Ob/Gyn with the same complaint and he said it was normal to have some discharge.....I wonder if I should see someone else??? Take Care and keep us updated!! Jesi
You're right, I am a strong woman. I can handle just about anything thrown at me. My PCP called and said I have to go in for another, more detailed mam because they didn't like what they saw on the one I had earlier this month, and then I have to wait for the results. If it is what they suspect, I have a dr lined up, a good one, in Scranton. I'll keep y'all posted as soon as I hear anything. Thanks for the support.
Nona
Oh Nona, I am so sorry, this is devastating for you I am sure. I do have encouragement to offer though- I am the daughter of a woman that has had and survived breast cancer TWICE- 20 years apart, once in 1978 when I was 10 and again in 1998 when I was 30. She did great, even though she did have to have a radical mastectomy both times but technology has certainly changed in 20 years. Now they even have the sonograms to further detect suspicious areas.
She is healthy as a horse now, and all 5 of us girls keep up with our yearly mammograms like clock work.
Now, to all my support group friends, in honor of all survivors and in memory of all those that fought the hard fight unrelentlessly and in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month- I challenge all of you to call your doctor immediately and schedule a MAMMOGRAM today! It may save your life or catch it before it gets too bad. Mine is scheduled for Nov 29th! When is yours?????????????????????????????? Don't put it off...
