Hello everyone, My second day of "recommiting". I have not had breakfast yet, I'll do that after I get offline. It will be my normal cottage cheese and tuna. Mmmmm!!! I put on my running gear this morning and ran home from my daughters bus stop! It is only about 1/4 mile, but HEY, it's my first day. I almost made it all the way but, I started getting sapped for breath as my boobs are so heavy and them bouncing just seems to YANK the breath right out of me. This jogging thing is for SMALL women! I thought I had the best sports bra...guess I will have to look for another, again. After I caught my breath again (also I started a small asthma attack) I resumed running home. I only walked for a minute. But I feel good that I ran today! I'm proud of me! WUDDYOODOO???? Tracy

Hi there Tracy, WHAT YOU DID RIGHT TODAY! Well Travy, I really can't exercise yet like I was before. I am only 3 weeks post-op from my hernia surgery. I will walk this morning a bit. I had my protein drink this morning. That is always a good start for me. Be careful running. I have a girlfriend who wears Champion brand running bras and loves them. Try them if you want to try a new excercise bra. I will be good today. I think for lunch I am meeting a friend. I will go to Wendys and get a chili. That seems to sit well for me. I still have trouble with my digestion a bit. Have a great day..... Lorraine

Good Morning Sweet Lorraine! I don't expect you to exercise. I know that you just had surgery! You are excused! You have done so well already, you just need to keep up with what you already do! It seems to be working for you! Have a great day! Florida will see some nice cool weather this weekend...59 on Saturday morning! WOO HOO!!! Hope you have great weather too. Tracy

Can I have the excuse too please I just had surgery too!!! LOL! Don't I sound 5....hahaha Anyways I am not exercising either but it is lunch time and I have eaten really good.....I had 4 apple slices with PB this morning......a lot of strawberry lemonaide, s/f of course....and for lunch I had a protein shake.....I am not eating anymore solids until I have a BM.....I have only went once since last Wednesday and boy am I feeling it....YUCKY!!! My Gyno doc says it is normal for the bowels to start working this slowly, but I gotta go and can't Oh well I might head to the store and get some smooth move tea or something!!! Take Care Jesi

I ate good today, so far. Cottage cheese and a few Triscuits for breakfast, a small handfull of soy nuts for a mid am snack, as I eat breakfast at 7. Lunch was 4oz of tuna and a side salad. 3pm snack will be an apple w/pb. Don't know what supper will be yet, probably a burger and a veggie like broccoli. Lots to drink. Tracy, be careful of the running. I was doing a lot of jogging and popped my knees. It hurts just to walk now, so I can't do much on the treadmill. I do what I can on the weekends, but not much during the week due to pain. Power walking is just as good and won't hurt the knees or hips. Take it from someone who should have listened and wished she did. Nona

I'm on it today I had a turkey burger (20g Protein, 160 calories, Tot Carbs 0, Tot Fat 9g) with a slice of cheese (4g Protein, 60 calories, Tot Carb 1g, Tot Fat 4g). I never have it with bread or anything since I'm not a bread person. I couldn't eat the whole thing either. I threw the last bite away. I'm trying not to feel like I'm being wasteful when I don't eat everything on my plate. I OFTEN will try to finish even though my pouch doesn't want anymore. I'm working on that though. I drank 14oz of Vitamin Water Kiwi Strawberry flavor (won't be drinking these anymore considering I'm REALLY looking at the label and I'm not liking what I see). Calories for an 8 fl oz serving (0g Protein, 56 calories, Tot Carb 13g, Tot Fat 0g OMG the SUGAR 13g maybe I didn't do so good today ). I'm on my way to the mall and will walk on my treadmill when the hubby gets home. Peace and Blessings everyone V.Grooms
