10 months out!!!!!!!!!!!

yesterday i went to weigh in...i was pleased that i am still losing weight. i am down 120 from the day i went in. and i am down 149 lbs from after my surgery...i have a question how many of you gained weight after your surgery. i went from 289 to 320 in like 3 days...which one of these would you guys use??????????? my mom tells me that if i use the heaviest weight sounds worse then the other one. lynda

Lynda, How are you? I use the day of surgery weight. I was 245 lbs on that day and now I am weighing 135 pds. I am down 110 pds I used to weigh near 300 lbs before I went on thyroid meds. But my day of surgery was 245 lbs.I did not gain any weight after my surgery. My anniversary is on October 15th. It will be 10 months for me also. Good luck to you and keep up the good work..... Hi Lynda! Congratulations on your weight loss! You have done SUPER WELL! Keep it up okay? I have to think you are near goal?? Oh, my starting weight is what I weighed in the hospital on the morning of surgery. My highest was 357 and day of surgery was 347.4 (I used 347). Hope that helps?! Take care, and GREAT JOB AGAIN. Happy anniversary Lynda.......I can't beleive how time is flying for us!!! Now if we can just get thru the holidays we will all be good.....LOL!!!! I hear it is pretty common to gain weight in the hosital.....I gained like 14 pounds too......fluid and gas I am sure.....but I lost it all in my 6 day hospital stay, so I don't count it! Take Care and bundle up girl....It is down right COLD in our neck of the woods!!! Jesi
