Recommiting Pledge for the RULES-JOIN ME!!!!!
Hello everyone....
I seem to be in one of my posting moods! Today being my 10th anniversary and knowing that I only have 2 more months to my 1 year anniversary and when I wanted to be at 125 pounds, I would like to recommit myself to doing THE RULES of our surgery. You remember...the ones we commited to even before we had this surgery 10 short months ago.
I think we are all getting into the phase where we are trying new foods and experimenting with things to eat that we probably shouldn't. Let's see if I can eat THIS now! WOW, yup I can! Doesn't make it GOOD for us. Certainly does not help us lose weight. Many of us are now complaining that our weight loss is slowing down and many complain of thier weight loss stopping all together and some that have been stopped for months. I just wonder if we are REALLY out of our "honeymoon" phase or if we are just abusing our new found eating habits?
I think we should all re-commit to the RULES just to test this theory. Let's just see if we are not all still able to lose weight well. I know I eat a lot more than I did and I eat many things that I shouldn't now and I don't get enough exercise. I'd like to see how many that I can remember...and wonder how many we still stick to!
My doctor made me sign a form saying that I would stick to the rules for life! Did yours?
Do not drink with meals...15 minutes before or after (some docs say longer or shorter)
NO carbonated drinks OR drinking through a straw
Chew Chew Chew! (when was the last time you heard that?)
Protein first!!!
Take your vitamins every day!!!!
Eat slowly
NO SUGAR!!!!!!!!
I think I am at a loss now, please help fill in some more rules!

Great post Tracy! I'm one of the lucky ones where my weight loss hasn't slowed down yet (I lost 17 pounds last month!) BUT I will re-commit to the rules as I don't want anything to get in the way of my goal and I need all the help, support and inspiration I can get!!
Here's a few other rules: NO GRAZING. 3 MEALS A DAY AND 2 LITE SNACKS (IF YOUR DOCTOR PERMITS). NO EATING AFTER 8PM. EXERCISE DAILY. DRINK AT LEAST 64 OZ OF WATER PER DAY.
