Jesi - sorry to hear about your hysterectomy. Good luck with surgery. The favorite thing that has changed in my life is my self confidence. With over 160 pounds gone (!!!) I feel like I have gained so mu*****onfidence. I walk around with my head held high instead of way down low. I'm more social, especially when it comes to my daughter's school and friends. Another favorite thing is not being hungry ALL THE TIME. I do get hungry when I haven't eaten very much but now I can have a few protein shakes a day and 1 meal and I am stuffed for the day. It's a great feeling (unless of course head hunger sets in which is really awful). Also (oh, there are so many fave things!!), I love walking and my legs don't rub against each other. What a great feeling! I am looking forward to losing the last of my pounds, having plastic surgery and wearing shorts and a bathing suit. (I refuse to wear shorts and/or a bathing suit until I get this excess skin removed.) Again, good luck tomorrow.

Hi there Jesi,. , , , How are you doing? Good luck with your surgery tomorrow. You will be fine, I had that surgery many years ago. I will say a prayer for you. .I have not been up to too much. I had surgery about 2 weeks ago to repair the innner hernia I had and the twisted up intestines it caused. I am now trying to get well. I had RNY done laproscopically. This time I was opened and it seems to be very painful. My DR says its because he had to twist the intestine around 180 degrees to straighten it back. Otherwise I am OK. It will be about 4-6 weeks before I can go back to work, so I am quite bored. I am now upstate with friends. I seem to be very cold and last night my girlfriend said"You are always cold, I think something is very wrong with you" MY feelings were hurt. I had all my bloods done and they are fine, There is nothing wrong with me. I am 110 pds thinner and I seem to get cold easier. I felt kind of hurt that she would say that to me. It is much colder there upstate about 35 degrees at night. I think today I am going back today. Otherwise there is nothing else new. Like I said you will be fine tomorrow. We have gotten through alot this past year so this will be a cinch for you. I am at "Goal" now. I have gone from 145 pds to 135pds. I am buying winter clothes. It is so nice to be able to just pick up a size 8 and know that when I get to the dressing room, I won't have to squeeze and squeeze to get into it. I am wondering is my final size going to be a size 6? I think I am fine at my size now, even though I might lose a few more pounds. The final test will be to maintain this. My daughter had weight loss surgery, She never acheived goal and has put most of it back on. . This is my biggest fear. Well Jesi, take care, good luck tomorrow. to you tomorrow. You are in my prayers ok? and ....Lorraine

Mark, I'm feeling blah too. Maybe it's the onset of winter? No more playing outside, enjoying the sun? Just dark cold nights and cold days ahead. Jesi, hope all goes well with you tomorrow. I go for a colonoscopy tomorrow. I'm very nervous about it. Keep having nightmares. My weight is the same, no change. Sigh. Three months. Nona

Good morning Jesi, Well, I don't think that my life has changed all that much, as for the day to day things. A lot more gets done around the house! I walk everyday. All due to the new found energy level. Helps, when you aren't carrying around another person all the time! This Halloween I plan to go out! Which I didn't do before. I told my husband that there is NO WAY I am sitting at home and passing out candy this year. I am buying myself a new SEXY costume and going out to a club. Be the first time I have been to a club in FOREVER! lol Weight loss has really slowed down this month. I'll be lucky to have lost about 2 pounds! Looking forward to the holidays and the wintery season! Tracy

I have been very busy working on the OH national convention. I have volunteered to be the volunteer coordinator. As the convention fast approaches I hope each of you are planning to attend. We are going to have the best 3 days in October ever. It's not too late to signup. Darrol 450/283/?

Hello Jesi, I am feeling blah also. My car is acting up and I don't have the money for repairs. It makes me feel trappped. Fortunately, JJ, my second daughter is living here with her baby, Olivia, and it is very hard to not be smiling when you wake up to that excited baby smile every day. My 16 year old twin daughters got the lead in the school play. One of them is the make believe friend of the other. (they do not look a like) It is also homecoming weekend. One of them has a date, and it is the first time she is going in a car with a teenage driver. We have been dragging my husband around looking for dresses (I can't drive his truck and my car can barely start) My oldest daughter, Erin, is pregnant for the first time. She is so excited about it. She makes up these stories about Baby. "Baby gets mad if I skip and meal! Baby doesn't like when I exercise." She makes us all laugh. I make myself exercise everyday. I would rather do something else, but I am always glad I did afterward. I feel like I am in good shape, but I am very disapointed about my weight loss. I want to be in normal sizes! I have a brother who lives in Flordia that is considering the surgery and I have the feeling that I was the guinea pig that he is keeping a close eye on. His best friends brother had it and he now volunteers, working with his doctor, because he feels that it changed his life so much for the better. WOW! I wrote a lot. I never know how much to blab away on here. hehehe Allison

I pretty much do what I did before surgery only with a lot more energy and a better attitude. My favorite thing is an empty medicine cabinet because the High Blood Pressure Rx and GERD rx are no longer necessary. Next would be my closet -- housing 2's, 4's and yes even some 0's. I had grandson #2 in April and look forward to granddaughter #1 late November. Child #3 is now in college. I'm exploring PS for a LBL. Not to be working right now I stay busy. LuvitsunnyV@goal
