BACK FROM THE HOSPITAL.

Hi there guys and gals How is everyone? I have not been on. Last Monday night I began to get those pains again. I was beside myself. I could not stand it anymore. The pain was unbearable. I have been suffering since May with these pains. I was hospitalized in July with these pains and would not let the DR operate and look. Well anyway to the point. I went at 1 AM in the morning back to the hospital. I hospital is in Brooklyn. I live on Long Island so it took about 1 hr. The admitted me. My DR came and said...Are you ready for me to just go in and take a look? I said YES! They ran tests to make sure it was not anything else. Gallstones, kidney stones, ulcers. All tests came negative, I had endoscopy, sonograms all negative. I stayed until Thursday and went to the OR They could not get in laproscopically so I was opened, They found a massive twist in my intestines, a hernia that was wrapped all different ways. They said they did not see the hernia because it was inside. I was in the OR for 4 hrs. When I woke up I was in so much pain. MEDS, MEDS, and for me. This pain is worse than when I had lap gastric in December. I miss all of you guys and had to share this with you. I just got home this afternoon. Take care and for me Lorraine

OMG Lorraine, this all sounds awful. I was wondering where you had gone! I'm happy that you let them operate and they fixed the problem. I hope you feel better soon, the pain must be unbearable. Please try to rest and keep popping those pain pills until you feel better! Take care.

Goodness....sounds like you had a rough surgery! Amazing how that can cause so much pain. Glad they found out what was wrong and that you are on the mend now. Make sure you take it easy and get your rest. You don't won't to over do it and not get fully recovered. I like the new picture you have...you look like a million bucks! Karie -110

You poor thing! How awful for you. Jill can sympathise the most, I think, but wow, you must have been hurting for sure. I am so glad they found the problem. Just be sure to rest and heal properly. Glad you're back and safe. Nona

Oh Lorraine bless your heart, you poor thing. I just had a hernia repair but you my dear had the WORKS! You are in my thoughts and prayers, follow doctor's orders, and get plenty of rest. Let your body heal and soon you will be feeling like a million bucks, plus no more pain! Jill

Lorraine! I pray for you every day. My girls know the names of most of the December board people. You have been through the ringer! You always have such a good attitude though. You are amazing. When I know the reason for pain, and that it is temporary, I just tell myself over and over that it won't last forever. Please remember we all care about you and are thinking of you. Oh. I'm so sorry I know how painful that is, the same thing happened to me at 3 months out, my intestines were all twisted up and squishing my new pouch too, very painful. I was lucky and they were able to fix mine with lap surgery. I hope you heal well and feel better soon! Kelly

Thankgoodess they found this all before it strangulated or something!!! It is no fun to be in pain, but think of how much better you should feel now that it is fixed.....love the new pic, I hadn't seen it before!! I will be wishing you the best and saying a few prayers for ya....I go back under the knife Oct 7th for a total hysterectomy....I am not looking forward to another surgery, but you know how it goes!!
