Fall shopping for me.
Hi there Guys, How is everyone doing. Well here is my day, that was the happiest for me yet. I was buying cheap clothes until I thought the weight would begin to stabilize. Most of us on this board had our surgery in December so our fall and winter clothes will not be fitting us.
I decided to buy a good pair of jeans. My dream was to be able to get a pair at "OLD NAVY" I did not know what size to get . I tried the nicest ones which were the relaxed fit. I am 5ft6 so I have a hard time with the legs being too short.
I started at size 10........too big.
I went to size 8.............just right. I was like a pig in S---t.
I then went to get 2 tops and XS fit me perfect.
I was crying in the dressing room from being so
Everyone have a great day and hope your clothes shopping is great you guys also.
Peace and Love Lorraine
Now where is the man of my dreams? Oh where oh where are you?
Oh Lorraine, I your "pig in S--t" attitude. You are so funny and so right to be happy Gone are the days when we can't find anything to buy that fits right....now my problem is "I only have so much $$$ to spend what do I HAVE TO PUT BACK "
Keep up the great attitude and the man of your dreams will find you when you least expect it!!! Have a GREAT WEEKEND!!!! Kimberly
Size 8 jeans and XS shirt, amazing !!! I would have cried too! I can only imagine how happy you must have been! Great job!!
I too need clothes. I only have sleeveless shirts (yes, I am brave enough to wear them even though I think my arms are awful!) and need to get some more weather appropriate clothes (especially after the cool weather we had today). For years I hid behind big shirts and bulky clothes I just feel "free" in my sleeveless shirts and crop pants, crazy huh?
Enjoy those new jeans!
You must feel absolutely fabulous. Is it time for a new pic. of you? I bet you look so much different then the one you have up now, huh? I am so for you!
I get to go bra shopping today....wonder if they make a 38 long bra, lol. Wish me luck cause' I hate shopping for bras, ugh!
Take care Lorraine and congrats to you
