Never in a million years.......
Ok, like the title said never in a million years would I have ever bought a pair of thong under prior to weight loss surgery! I was shopping and like all of you with the weight loss you need to buy things as you lose. Well, there they were...."the thong" starring @ me and I thought what the heck they are clearanced down to only $1.50 and are regular $12.00 so why not give it a try.
Just thought you guys might get a chuckle out of that....so what have you bought to wear that you would have not worn prior to WLS?

I have to admit, I felt the same as you did about the whole thong thing and like you I also gave in and bought one. I like em', specially now that I have nicer clothes and don't like panty lines. You get used to the feeling of em' after a little while. I am sure you'll find yourself buying more.
I now find myself wearing alot less sleeveless tanks and tees because I am so embarrassed of my hanging arms. I can't wait to get those puppies fixed.

Hi there Karie,Let me answer your question.
So what have you bought to wear that you would have not worn prior to WLS?
I now can wear an exercise bra with my shorts when I awalk. I was wearing thongs as a big woman, so that is not differenet . I just went and bought size 5 panties... talk about different huh? ..... I guess life does change after losing all this weight. I now can wear overalls. I love jeans overalls. There is not stopping me now.
RNY 12/15/03........245 lbs
9/10/04.................104 lbs
DOWN-105 PDS.
I too had to do the thong thing. Never would have thought I would have worn what I used to call "butt floss", but I like them now.
I also bought a size medium camoflauge bikini....won't wear it in public, but i did wear it out back at our pool as long as no visitors were present. Who knows after PS, I may wear it in public.
I also bought a size 4 jeans that are very tight but fit! Yahoo...I don't really like tight clothes but I had to have at least one pair of 4s.
Have a great weekend. Tracy, are you okay. I am so worried about you Floridians, I don't know how much more you guys can take. I have a niece and her family in Orlando that we have not heard from in a couple of days. I hope all is well.

I am still too big for thongs, but I AM going to try them. All of my daughters wear them. My smallest daughter (I don't mean thinest, I am talking height wise) ...she is a health nut, 5' and all muscle, is pregnant. She just bought herself maturnity overalls. She looks so cute in them! That is what I thought of Lorraine, when you said you got overalls. I haven't made it to jeans yet. I love when you all post these kind of happy posts. They make me giggle all day.
