9 months post-op
Good Morning and Happy Anniversary to my December 8th surgery buddies
I can't believe that it has been 9 months allready. Where does time go?
As of today I am down from 245 to 130
I really don't want to loose too much more, 10lbs MAX, but I am also afraid of the weight loss stopping. Kinda weird, huh? I think its because I have always failed at maintaining weight loss....now that I am here, what do I do
On a Happy WLS note:
This week my sister has been here from AZ. She has always been the tall, skinny one-And, believe it or not, she tried on some of my too big jeans and they were too small for her. OMG That has NEVER happened.
I am in a comfy size 6, thinking I will end up a 4 after PS. WOW
Amazing, huh?!?!?!
Thanks for reading my ramble. Hope you all have a good Day!! Kimberly
Congratulations Kimberly. You have done very well in the last 9 months!
I totally understand about the fear of the weight loss stopping. We have spent so much time lately (9 + months) trying to get the weight off and then when you hit goal - well, what happens then? I'm nowhere near goal (still have another 49 pounds to go!) so I'm not worrying about it right now. You will succeed at maintaining - I know you will. Just don't let yourself get back into any of the bad habits and remember to exercise (if you exercise now) and keep your calories at the right level (you might have to experiment with this as you want to eat enough not to lose weight but not too much to gain weight!). You can do it, just trust in yourself and don't forgot how much work you have put into this. Good luck.
