How do you answer?
Got toegther this weekend with family and of course when its been awhile since they have seen you they are like WOW you look great. However, how many of you when asked tell people what you currently weigh? I never told anyone except for my husband what my weight was prior to surgery and even today he is the only one I tell what my current weight is. Well, long story short some of my family were a little ticked b/c I would not share what I currently weigh...I tell them the total pounds lost I just feel the other infomation is personal. I mean, how many women just yell out what they weigh????
Karie -107 pounds
Just like it was your personal choice to tell or not tell anyone about the surgery ~~ it's your personal choice to disclose or not disclose your facts of weight change. Your relatives should recognize and respect that.
However, some family members (and others) feel like they just HAVE to know.

I never tell how much I weigh. Even when I get down to a decent size will I never tell. It's rude of them to ask, even though you are family they owe you the same consideration as anyone else deserves. I have people ask how I did it. One of my dh's aunts cornered him till he told how I did it. That made me angry that she did that. I told him I wasn't mad at him cause he told, I was gonna tell anyone who asked but I wanted to tell them. I am mad at her for doing that to him. My SIL said he tried to get around it but she wouldn't let it go so he finally gave it up. I am pissed at her and I wished she had asked me instead of doing that to him.

I have no problem tellin people how much I have lost but when it come to the question of how much I weight/weighted I just tell them thats between me and Jesus and people respect that
