Weight Loss Question

Hi, I will be a 9 months September 15 and the day of surgery I was 289 and normally before that 297 what is the normal weight loss for me right now? If anyone knows please post.

I will be nine months post-op on September 9th. The pre-op weight my surgeon has down for me was 278 (week before surgery) and this morning I weighed 171. (I am 5'3) My highest weight before surgery was 336, when I started this journey last May. I hope that helps, but remember that a lot of things can influence each individuals weight loss. Christy

I was 293.....I am 5'2, so that put me at a very high 53ish BMI! When I went into surgery I was 282....protein diet to help shrink my fatty liver! Anyways today I am 174!!! Weight loss is getting MUCH SLOWER!! Take Care JEsi

Staci, Hi there! I don't think there is a normal weight loss, that is standard. I had surgery the same day as you. I started at 245 lbs. I am now 141 lbs. That is 104 lbs lost. Just keep up the good work. Remember we are all different, Our metabolisms and digestions are all different... Good Luck to you.... Lorraine

Sraci don't worry my 9 month day was Sept. 1, for me things are a little slow but okay last month I was wearing a size 12 , my daughter came to vist last week and I can now wear her things and she is a size 10 ,HOW ABOUT THAT, when I think of the place I was at this time last year , I feel great . I started out day of surgery 247 I'm now at 169 . life is good look at the place we are at NOW !!!!!!
