Hi there and Good Sunday to all, Here is my dilemma. I hope I spelled it write in my rage. I am now almost 9 months post-op. I have reached Goal thank God. I have gone from 245 lbs to 143 lbs. I was wearing a size 22/24, and now I am wearing a size 8. I am down -102lbs. I just seem to not be able to get to this "IDEAL GOAL". I can't even seem to get too much of anything off. I am so discouraged. I have just gotten rid of most of my carbs in the house. It seems they work so well. I only have 8 more pounds to get to this goal. Any suggestions? I have increased my walking on the boardwalk. What can a girl do Do any of you guys near or at goal and seem to be at this point in your journey? ..... ...... Have a great day and keep I sure hope I don't fall off this ..Lorraine

I don't know Lorraine =( I think it will still come off. Whenever anyone asks what they should do on the main board everyone says, more protein, more water, less carbs, and up exercise. The other thing everyone says if you don't see weight loss, check inches. Lots of times you are losing inches if you aren't losing pounds. Your life seems so happy and you look so great...maybe it is just a lot slower, but not over. I just KNOW you will lose this 8 pounds. Allison

Hello. I think you have done just great! On the other hand, I know just how you feel! I was 281 lbs and size 24 pre-op and had been 163 pounds, size 10, for the past six week. All of a sudden about two days ago, the weight started coming off again and I have lost 3 lbs in the past few days. I hadn't done anything different. Sometimes, I think, your body gets comfortable at a certain weight and plateaus. My thought is just be patient, make sure you are drinking lots of water and let your body do what it is going to do! Good luck! ~Erika

Lorraine, I am in the same boat as you. Since mid June I have only lost 4 lbs. I have done the extra exercise, increased the water and the protein. I only have abou 10-12 lbs more to lose. I am worried. I have started to write down everything. Looking to see what others have to say. Nancy

I have an idea how you feel. I have only lost about 6lbs since June. So frustrating. I am now adding more shakes to see if that helps. Maybe your body is done? My PCP says I will only loose as much as my body lets me. Just a thought. Nona

Oh Lorraine, You and I are in the same boat! I still have 12 lbs. left to go and I lose two pounds and then each month...I gain them back. I am now in mostly 6s so I know I have lost some inches in the past couple of months but since June I have lost a total of 3 or 4 pounds!! UGH~ is all I can say. I don't want to give up though... I think I can do it! I know you can too! ~Rachel
