Now that we have more energy.....
Is anyone finding themselves BORED and searching for things to do???
Before surgery it was all I could do to take care of the kids and the house (Im a stay-at-home-mom) now I am soooooo bored. My house is spotless, the kids and I are always on the go...but something is missing.
I am thinking of going back to college in January to get my Nursing Assistant certification, then working a few nights a week at the hospital.
By working nights, I'd not have to worry about daycare and I am a night-owl by nature.
Anyway, just wondering if it was just me or if anyone else can relate.
Your all a great bunch of LOOSERS
Kimberly
Kimberly, I am sure going for your Nursing Assistants Certification will be rewarding . This happens to be what I do for over 20 years. I enjoy this work very much.I do find with more energy I am spending more time walking on the boardwalk.
Yes we have more energy with our increased weight loss. Isn't it great?
Enjoy life Kimberly and whatever you decide to do with yourself will be great. Keep on your journey... Lorraine
I have one daughter at home with a 7 month old baby and my oldest daugther is pregnant. I have twin daugthers that will turn 16 in September. I am a stay at home mom too. It seems that I barely have time to myself and I am always running around. I love to read and can barely get in a few chapters a day.
I WAS an LPN. My brother is a PA and my sister-in-law is an RN. My best friend is... She was an RN when I worked with her, now she has so much other school I don't know all the initials after her name. I believe she is called to be a nurse. If it is in your heart to do that it will bring you a lot of joy.
I will pray for you and be thinking about you. Please let us know what you decide. I want you to be happy!
Oh Kimberly I know what you mean!
I am taking classes right now to get my masters (we just started school again this past Monday) thank goodness. The summer was tough for me b/c the kids went to camp and after cleaning the house... there wasn't much to do. The unfortunate side effect for me was that there was more time to become addicted to carbs again and to start grazing.
I am so glad that school is back in session or I am not sure I would be able to get these last 12 or 13 pounds off! More exercise, more studying, and less time to spend cleaning house...ugh!
