Hurricane over...

Hello all, Thank you so much for your well wishes! I really appreciate all of your prayers. At the last minute, Charley took a turn to the right and missed us. There is loads of destruction in ***** Gorda, I just think, that was supposed to be me. :o( We had a manditory evacuation in my area and a friend of mine who lives in Ft. Myers and his parents stayed with us at my mothers house out of the way of the storm. He has not been back home yet, but I am awaiting word from him to see if his house is OK. I came back home at 9pm last night and all we had was one branch down. I think that the storm we are getting today is worse than what we got yesterday. I wish everyone that ended up being in the path of this destructive storm, my best. I hope you are all alright and that your homes were spared. My prayers go out to those with damage. I know this could have been me. Thank you everyone! Tracy

Tracy, Thank God you are OK. I thought about through this whole hurricane ordeal. I also am so sad and pray for all of those whose homes were destroyed. Glad you are back.... :Lorraine

glad to hear that you're safe and sound. It could have been so bad. We have friends who lost everything, but they're ok. No one I know lost their lives and everything else can be replaced. Hope everyone else is safe. Nona

Hello Tracy- Glad to hear from you and all is well. I can't imagine what it is like going thru these storms and what effect it has on your life. I pray everyone in Florida and up the cost will pull thru this. Living in Western Pa, we get some killer snow storms, but I just some how think a Hurricane is much much worse.
