My new "after" pic

My new after pic is up. I also need some suggestions for a plateua breaker. I have been down 92 lbs for the last 7 weeks now. I really want to make the Century Club as well as my goal. I am 14 lbs away from my goal. I have increased my exercising/walking, my protein and my water(which I haven't had any problems with getting in my protein and water). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am wondering if maybe I am not getting in enough food? Has anyone had this problem? Thanks everyone! Nancy

Hi Nancy, we have the same surgery date. And although I don't have any suggestions I do feel a little better in knowing that I am not the only one struggling. I've been battling the same 5 pounds for over a month now and it is getting annoying. So I know where you are coming from. I guess it is an 8 month thing. I await other replies to see what everyone else has to say. Talk care. Jill

Hi Nancy, We have the same date too! I was having the same trouble that you and Jill had until a week ago. I have increased my water to 115 oz. and I did 4 miles on wed, thurs, and 5 miles on friday and saturday. I am sure that you came up with the idea of adding my exercise and water, but I wanted to tell you it worked for me. I lost 3 pounds last week and it is still gone!! It will work itself out soon ladies.... I hope this loss continues b/c that was the first weight I had lost in a month! ~Rachel

I have heard over and over if you don't get in enough calories, your body will kick in starvation mode and hold on to everything you put in. I would increase your calories a tad, but only increase the calories with protein sources like cheese, nuts, meat. Cut out those carbs. Carbs will definitley make you hold your weight. That works for me. Luckily I have not had many plateaus, knock on wood! Hugs, Sandy

Thanks everyone. I do think that I am not getting in enough calories. I have increased that with protein and I have increased my water from about 80 oz to 115 oz. It does look like the scale has moved about 2 lbs! I will keep you updated! Thanks again. Nan
