Hi guys back from the Dr.

HI there my good friends, How is everyone doing? I hope everyone has a good weekend. I hope everyones journey here is great Here is the update on my health situation. I went to my surgeon today to get a note to go back to work on Monday. I explained that I went on liquids since yesterday and the stomach pains stopped. He said that I he wanted to increase my Prontonics to absorb the acids and start soft diet tomorrow. I was on the subway to the Dr, and was going crazy looking at this guy eating breakfast. I have not had food since Wednesday I thought I would grab that breakfast out of his hand and eat it. . This is real torture. To make a long story short he says if I get pains when I start the food again he wants me in the ER by Sunday and Monday morning he is going to take me to the OR to open me and take a look Well all I can do is pray the pains have stopped and it's just a stomach virus... Wish me Luck guys....... Lorraine

Lorraine, don't laugh at this question, but could you have gotten contaminated food/water somewhere? My mom in law had the same symtoms and had her stool tested and it turned out that she had animal feces in her. Gave her such pain and the only way she felt better was not to eat. The girl that does my nails went through the same and she picked up ecoli at a local resturaunts' salad bar. A co-worker of mine had it, from a sushi bar. More and more of it, simply because folks don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom. It just sounds like the same thing. Maybe you can suggest the stool test before they open you up. Just an Hope you get better fast. Nona

Oh Lorraine I hope everything goes well for you... I know I wouldn't be ready for another open surgery at this time..I'm sure you're not either..My prayers are with you girlfriend.

Hi there guys, Thanks for all your prayers. I hope they work, I have until tomorrow. If the pains continue I must go to ER for a direct admission. He will operate on Monday. Well today I begin my soft foods. I should lose weight like this..... I would rather be eating . Take care guys and Thanks again.....Lorraine
