New pictures up on my Profile
Hey Shannon!!
You are being just too kind about my skinny tan arms. If I would have waved at the camera you would have been able to see my long, skinny bat wings hanging under my skinny tanned arms!!!!
I think tall people hate being tall as much as short people hate being short. Here are a few of my "really petty" frustrations about being tall...
* I would love to say one day.. "can I try those jeans in a size 6?" .. it will never, ever happen! I am now wearing a size 13/14.. which is great for me at 5'11", but I will never be able to get into the single digits. YOU WILL!
* It is impossible to have "pretty" size 10 feet. I love to go barefoot, and I do, but my feet are just plain ugly.
* Finding tall men... my husband is 5'7".. I love him dearly, but we look pretty funny slow dancing.
* Hitting my head on the ceiling fan.. then reaching up to grab your head and hit your hand on the ceiling fan!
* My pants are always too short..
You get the idea..
I am amazed at what sizes some people wear... I work with a girl I consider to have a perfect figure...she looks awesome....wears size 12 pants. I would have never guessed ---she is in shape, thin....no fat to poke anywhere on that body....
AS long as you look like the size 6 nobody will ever know any differently!!!!
I won't probably get down to the 10's but even at 12's I think I will be thrilled...and will have to live with short and wide bottom half for the rest of my life. DON"T think PS can push my hip bones together .............. can they?!?!
My pants and sleeves are always tooo long even with PETITES!! What gives!!!!????
SO I doubt I will ever see single digits....but it is a nice thought!
I see no evidence of batwings! You look wonderful. I am 5' tall and my best friend is 6' tall so I have heard a lot for years about tall complaints and short ones. (One of her daugthers is 6'3" and just sooo beautiful) The difference in height with men is the only one I would hate about being tall.
I love all the December people. What a wonderful group.
I know exactly what you mean.. I was the one who always volunteered to take the picture so that I would not have to be in it.
Every August we go on a sailing/diving trip in the Bahamas. A picture was taken during the trip last year of me in my bathing suit. I literally cried when I saw how fat I actually was. I wanted to burn the picture so nobody would see it. Instead, I decided to have WLS.
Well, we are leaving in the morning for this years trip. We are on the same sailboat as last year and I going to have my DH take a picture of me in my bathing suit.
These are going to be my Before and After pictures for my profile page. What is truly amazing is that I can't wait to share the fat picture now. Yep.. that same picture I almost burned.
Have a great weekend Rachel!
