TCBY Suger Free Yougart

I was reading a older post about TCBY had a suger free Yougart,so Today for luch I decided mmmmmmmm that sounds good. I went got the chocolate.( SUGER FREE) I had to come home and go to sleep, it made me sick as a He_ _ still this late ,I still feel nausea. Be very careful of the word SUGER FREE it may still make you sick...........

Two things could have done it. Either the fat or sugar alchohol, manitol and sorbitol. I can't tolerate them either. One or the other, but not all three combined. In the freezer section in my local grocery, Mr.Z's in the ice cream section, there is Carb Conscience, made by Escimo Pie. They're sweetened with Splenda and have a little sugar alchohol and some fat. If you eat only one, you're ok. More than that, you're sick. I haven't tried two, because one leaves me borderline, but they are fudgie and good and creamy. They also have ice cream bars and sandwitches. Just a thought. Nona

It could have been lactose, are you able to drink milk or eat milk products? I haven't been able to eat ice cream at all. I am now lactose intolerant and just the thought of milk products (except cheese-go figure) makes me nauseous. I guess nobody has come up with a fat free, sugar free, lactose free ice cream or sherbert yet. I could get rich!!! Teeheee (it would probably taste like straw or something...) Staci

I got the lactose problemo as well..... I can eat cheese and yoghurt but drink a glass of milk or 1/2 cup of low carb ice cream and 15 mins later I am cramping, sick, and yucky feeling.....and usually end up with a run to the bathroom. Haven't tried either in a while.....but I did buy some Lactaid the other day and plan to give it a try next time I am dying for ice cream!
