Ok...I know most of us have experienced this but when will the hair loss stop? I am afraid I will be bald by the end of summer. I ran the sweeper the other day in my make-up vanity area and I could of made a wig on the hair I picked up w/the sweeper! I know they say protien will help but won't this stop here soon? So what are any of you all doing about this hair loss? Thanks, Karie --94lbs

I am still losing hair too. My family is starting to get grossed out. Sometimes the wind will blow it right out of my head. I have been pretty embarassed about it.

I feel like a good news/bad news joke on this topic. Good News: The hair loss stopped at about six months, for me. Bad News: Since my arm surgery last week, it's started up all over again. Waaahhhh! Stop messing with the hair!

We are two days apart and my hair loss has slowed considerably. I am finding baby sprouts coming up. Look for the sprouts of new growth, it may surprise you to find some soon if not today. I know how ya' feel though. Diane

My hair was paper thin before the surgery, to the point I'd get sunburned on my head. You could see scalp no matter what I did. Since the surgery, well, Yule Brenner had more hair. So does Michael Jordon. I lightened it, and got a short cut. I take Biotin to strengthen what is left. Im about 7 1/2 months out and it is starting to slow down, I guess because I'm able to eat more now. But so has the weight loss. So we get hair back, but no more weight off. Fair trade I guess. My stylist says that coloring the hair gives it the illusion of thickness. Try Kenra shampoo. I get it at a salon. It helps a whole lot with volume. It's not cheap, but it works. Nona

karie, My hair loss stopped about a month ago, but I find that there is a direct corrolation between how much protein I eat and how much hair I lose. If I don't really push the protein then the hair loss starts up again!!!! Crazy, but true in my case! Jackie

Karie I can't help with the hair, I eat so much protein and zink that I haven't lost any hair yet. I've had to see my barber every 2 months instead of three that I use to do. It will stop sometime though. Darrol 450/308/?
