A very nice compliment

My husband and I did something that we have not done in a very long time...we went dancing and played some pool. I had the most wonderful time. The people we went with wanted to go get something to eat around 12:30 am or so but I wasn't ready to go so we went to another "honkey tonk" and my hubby was ready to go around 1 am or so but I still wasn't but decided it was time. On our way home my kind, sweet, loving man looked at me and said, "You do know that you were the most beautiful woman at both places and I was proud that you were on my arms". I was so stunned because he just doesn't say those kinds of things very often. I just had to cry! He said that if he would have known it was gonna make me cry he wouldn't have said anything. I started laughing then. We have been married 16 1/2 years and I think I love him more today than I did when I married him. He has told me time and time again, "I have loved you when you were fat and I love you skinny". I think I will keep him for awhile longer!! Have a good day! Rhonda
