Name-Kristen Surgery Date- 12/11/03 Highest Weight-320 Pre Surgery weight-313 Weight today-198 Total weight loss-122 Best thing about losing all the weight-I've forgotten how miserable it felt when I couldn't buckle seat belts or bend over to tie my shoes. I know it was, but for some reason, my mind has numbed out how bad that misery truly was Best compliment to date-You don't look a pound over 150. (Ha, yeah right)

Name- Staci Floyd Surgery Date- Dec. 10, 2003 Highest Weight-262 Pre Surgery weight-257 (my scale) 253 (doc's scale) Weight today-160 (my scale) Total weight loss- -97 Best thing about losing all the weight- getting in single digit clothes, no more hurting knees, hips and back, being able to look in the mirror without getting sick at my stomach Best compliment to date-my husband looking at me with those lusting/wanting eyes is enough but also the "oh my gosh" and "how'd you get so skinny?" and being called skinny minnie and "slim" by people I haven't seen in a while

Name- Lisa Surgery Date- 12/1/03 Highest Weight- 274 Pre Surgery weight- 248 Weight today- 188 Total weight loss- -86 pounds (-60 from surgery) Best thing about losing all the weight- I have actually become an exercise junkie! Best compliment to date- A sweet older lady I haven't seen since before surgery walked by me then turned around and called me back. She was amazed at my weight loss and said I was beautiful (I had NO makeup on!!) and looked like the girl in my wedding picture. (My kids always wondered who that girl was with Dad )

Surgery Date- 12/01/03 Highest Weight-234 Pre Surgery weight-216 Weight today-147 Total weight loss-87 lbs Best thing about losing all the weight-better health, self-esteem back! I have so much more energy. I feel like a woman again. Best compliment to date-My wls surgeon didn't recognize me at my 6 month check-up!

Hello everyone, Don't ya just love these posts?! We individually can think up some things as to why losing the weight is so great, but to hear the others responses, just make me think more about how lucky we all are to have had our surgery. You have all done SO WELL!! I'm proud of each and every one of you!!! Now, there are some who have not posted yet...You know who you are AND you know I KNOW who you are, so post please! Name- Jenni Surgery Date- 12-18-03 Highest Weight- 315 Pre Surgery weight- 315 Weight today- 216 Total weight loss- 99 (oh so close) Best thing about losing all the weight- first my health has improved dramatically, next I feel so excited to wear new clothes and to be more comfortable! Best compliment to date- I don't know if I can pick out one. It's most fun when people haven't seen me for a while and can't hide their shock and surprise....like my step son when he came home from Iraq and my DIL I hadn't seen in 5+ months, and other people who hadn't seen me for a long time!

Total weight loss: 70lbs. Best thing about losing all the weight: Just feeling normal again Best compliment to date: my nickname at work is the "shrinking woman" they all stare at me everytime they see me..comments like "you are looking so good!" well didn't I look good before?? Well you have all passed me up with the weight loss..I have always been a slow loser..I guess I will continue to be!! Well 70 lost is better than 70 gained!!
