QOD 6 /16/04
Do you have any birthmarks, interesting moles/freckles or other scars, strange formations on your body??
Not sure what made me think of this one!
I was born with 2 cherry colored birthmarks on my back --- one looks like a HICKEY and when I was younger and showed my exposed back in public I remember getting teased about it.... IT ISN'T a HICKEY!! ewww gross!!! They have faded a lot now that I am older or I just don't notice them much anymore.
Another time I recall my brother and I comparing the freckles on our hands and how we have similar locations (weird?) ex. same place on our pinky.
My brother ended up with NO birthmarks...so I guess since I have 2--I stole his!
Then there is this chicken pox scar (pit) on my forehead and when we were dating, my hubby used to touch my forehead with his finger in various places trying to have me guess if he was touching the right place or not. I always KNEW when he was wrong.
I have LOTS of freckels....I used to have lots of moles too.....but had most of them removed......I had only one birthmark a brown mark right below my toes, but over the years it has faded away! I have a big scar on my left knee: when I was a kid I was playing hide-n-go-seek with my cousins and one of them scared me when I was hiding in a dark closet and I fell onto a tire jack and split my knee open. I have another scar across my index and middle fingers on my left hand, I think I was like eight I took a big ole' knife to cut a piece of bread and got my fingers instead.....lol!!!! That is it for me Jesi
Hi Shannon!
My only unusual marks are scars and a couple of oddly shaped bones (from colliding with the ground after parting ways with horses over the years.) Besides my rny scar, there are scars on my feet from bunion surgery and ankle arthroscopy, arthroscopy scars on my knee, and a biopsy scar on my breast. And the right wrist and left humerus are both shapped a little weird (be careful with what orthopedists call "acceptable allignment" of fractures!)
I guess my body would be fairly easy to identify from x-rays.
Have a good day
Deb
This IS a funny question, but one I can answer!!!!!
I have a birthmark on my NECK that looks like a hickey... it stays light to moderate, but if I get hot or embarrassed it turns BRIGHT RED!!! I have been teased for EVER about it and have had to remind several exes that it REALLY IS a birthmark!!!! lol I also have one on my forehaed that has faded significantly as I hove gotten older (thankfully) that looks like an upside down exclamation point... dunno what thats all about. Those are all that are interesting... GOOD question

Hey guys,
This is the first time I've read the posts this week and feel so out of touch. I am so very busy at school. Just took midterms yesterday and next Friday are finals. This fast track stuff is for the birds....
Answer to the question (btw Shannon, I loved this question!)
I have three birthmarks, two on my leg (one you can barely see but the other is on my upper outer thigh and looks like a humongous bandaid and is very dark and ugly and I hate it!) and another on my right hand that is in the shape of the United States. Odd huh!
I have severe scarring from a breast reduction when I was 21, now since I have lost all this weight, I have nothing but skin and would kill for them back! I scar really easily so with my 13 surgeries and dogs and cats, I have scars everywhere. Don't want to bore you with that list.
I do have a scar on my back that meets the antenna on my butterfly tattoo now since I had a ruptured disk removed in 2003 and now I hate to show the tattoo (red/white/blue -flag looking butterfly in small of my back) because everyone sees the scar.
I also have a straight scar on my left hand where I used a pencil eraser to put an "L" on my hand for my "first love" when I was in 9th grade. How idiotic was that- must have had a brain freeze!!!! Didn't make it to the "L" part, all I got to was the "l" and quit because it hurt!
Okay, I am telling way to much of my stupid wild teenage days, so I'll quit now before I embarrass myself completely.
Great question though!
