Hi there to my friends today I am trying to think of good questions for us to answer , so here we go. Is there something you promise yourself you will do the next day that you never get to do and say over and over let me do it tomorrow? Why do you think you procrastinate your decisions? Are there any future goals you have for yourself? If you made no plans for vacation this summer have you decided there is something or some place you will get to next year? Last question.... When you traveled whether on a plane or bus or car did you feel quite uncomfortable in the seat for long periods of time due to you being overweight? Have a good day and enjoy life... Lorraine

Hi there friends, Let me answer some of my own questions. There is something I promise myself everyday to do that I never get to do and that is get along with some people at work and just ignore their behaviors. I must learn that some people never change so I must learn to deal with them. I also must keep my promise of drinking more fluids.I was never a water drinker. Are there any future goals I have set for myself. Yes there is. I am hoping to retire by 62 and to move upstate. I love it up there. I also would "LOVE TO GET TO THE CENTURY CLUB" That is another goal. I have made plans for this summer to go to Philly, but next year I would love to go to the Caribbean somewhere. I have been to many places and Trinidad is one place I would love to get to see. Last question....Yes when I traveled on a plane I was so uncomfortable. I could hardly buckle the seat belt on the plane, and then I felt like I was sitting on top of the next person. Imagine feeling that way to Hawaii ... That is a long trip. When I took Amtrack to North Carolina the seats were roomier but the plane ... FORGET IT Have a great time...... Lorraine

Is there something you promise yourself you will do the next day that you never get to do and say over and over let me do it tomorrow? Oh, yes, that's me! And for some reason, it's almost always housework of some sort. I was on a roll with the Spring Cleaning, but have been meaning to start the den for about 4 days now. Gotta get it done before the clan descends for Father's Day festivities this weekend. Are there any future goals you have for yourself? Lot's of them, like climbing to the summit of Long's Peak (Colorado), and getting back the riding form that will allow me to show my horse to the best of her ability !! If you made no plans for vacation this summer have you decided there is something or some place you will get to next year? I have next summer narrowed down to either Estes Park, Colorado (see previous answer), or possibly China. I spent the summer of '99 there teaching English, and would dearly like to return for another summer, finances and health allowing. When you traveled whether on a plane or bus or car did you feel quite uncomfortable in the seat for long periods of time due to you being overweight? Car travel has mostly been ok, but there have been a few plane trips I hated! These were 14+ hours in the air, flying to/from Hong Kong and Sydney, Australia. Hong Kong was the worst, as it was on a packed flight, not an open seat anywhere, behind an "amatuer flyer" who kept slamming his seat back into my knees. That's besides the too small seat, seatbelt that only buckled when I sucked the gut in, and the drunk honeymooners in the adjoining seats. Sydney was better, especially the return trip where the seats to my right, ahead and behind me were open. But the seatbelt was still an issue, and asking for an extender was too embarrassing. What really worried me on these flights was the possibility of blood clots in the legs, and moving up and down the aisle to keep the blood flowing was really difficult when I was M.O. Sure would be nice if they put in a couple of treadmills on these really long flights! Have a great day, Lorraine! Deb

Is there something you promise yourself you will do the next day that you never get to do and say over and over let me do it tomorrow? *Constantly-- housework, studying, organizing, exercising, drinking water, more protein...I could go on and On and ON. Did I mention my middle name was PROCRASTINATE? Why do you think you procrastinate your decisions? *LAZY??? No clue. I manage to end up getting things done but I don't do much until I am forced or down to the wire. I will plan vacations/weddings/moving on a daily basis but when it comes to things that AREN'T fun...I drag my feet. Are there any future goals you have for yourself? *Improve those items above! If you made no plans for vacation this summer have you decided there is something or some place you will get to next year? *Well I always make plans for vacation--I prefer to NOT go during the summer but being in school dictates when I can go no and NOT the best weather. NEXT year, I hope for Cape Town, South Africa and the Garden Route along the southern most coast to the Addo Elephant Park to see the Big 5 animals (lions, giraffes, elephants, zebra, rhino-I think) BUT if I can't convince hubby it is SAFE to go to South Africa then I imagine we will end up in Montreal and Quebec City. Last question.... When you traveled whether on a plane or bus or car did you feel quite uncomfortable in the seat for long periods of time due to you being overweight? WELL fortunately I got to fly BUSINESS class for the majority of our trips and they are bigger/farther apart and the seat belts just made it. However on our trip from Sydney to Tasmania then Cairns it was in Coach and on 1 leg I held the seat belt together and made it LOOK like it was buckled b/c I would have been horrified to get an extender...they aren't exactly discreet about it. I saw them tell an overweight lady that they would need to get her one and I was several rows back. HOW embarassing. Usually I am next to my husband so I am not soo worried about the fact that I spill over to the seat next to me. I am hippy/wide so I would push up the arm rest and the tray table would rest on my belly...any movement and the food/drink was spilling. I am paranoid about DVT so I constantly flex my feet/contract the muscles in my legs and get up to walk every 2 hrs. Stand up and stretch..something. I am NOT going to die from a PE. NO thank you...especially in some foreign country.

I am a list person, a plan person, and I plan what I am going to do for a day and do it. I have to, because I would forget my head if it wasn't attached. I did have a lot of trouble with the water at first, but now it is better. I don't go anywhere on planes, but before, sometimes seat belts wouldn't fit over me and if we went to the movies or school functions, the fit was tight and I did need to sit next to family for the overlap. This year my oldest daughter is getting married in Niagra Falls and that is my only planned vacation. Her plan was to elope but I wanted to see her get married so she said we were invited. I am very excited about it. When I read about the horsebackriding I get jealous. I have always loved horses and every year I used to get to go horsebackriding for my birthday present, then one year when I was about ten, I couldn't breath after. I developed a servere allergy to horses. I do occasionally still go...but I can't touch the horse and I have to take allergy pills before hand and a shower the minute I am done... with a change of clothes. Next year I want to go on one of those MURDER MYSTERY weekends and rent a cottage at one of the state parks.

I'll always procrastinate on housework -- that's a given! Future goals -- yes, I certainly want to complete my 2nd career venture and take my LPN license to RN. I also want to complete a medical missions trip within the next couple of years. Next week I'll be basking in the sun at Sanibel Island, FL -- the gulf side of the state. I'll initiate the three B's of vacation On the BEACH, in my BATHING SUIT, reading a good BOOK! I haven't flown since surgery but I'm sure I'll be more comfortable. Sitting in the theater seat certainly is.
