I was in Florida on vacation last week and actually let someone take a picture of me in my swimsuit So I thought I would ask y'all a question. Do you like getting your picture taken? Did you like getting your picture taken pre op? Have you kept a photo journal of your weight loss journey? Have a great day and take some pictures Jackie

I have always liked getting my picture taken as long as I can pose. I HATE candid shots because I don't get to pose in a way that is a little more flattering Not sure who I was kidding My hubby knows that the camera can only take a picture from the boobs up

Pre Surgery photo's....hated to have taken. Our family photo album has no photo's of me. I was always behind the camera. Post Surgery....I have made a point to have my photo taken w/my two boys. Trying to make up for all the missing photo's Photo journey...I have taken photo's along this weight loss journey to compare. Karie -90

No. When I have my picture taken and I see the photo I start to find all of my flaws. I don't mind group photos...I can hide in the back.

Hi there Jackie, Do I like getting my picture taken? Yes I love to get my picture taken, more so now I see my collarbone now and that is so funny to see. Did I like taking my picture pre-op? Yes I did, but I used to get depressed after seeing them. I just looked terrible. I saw a picture taken of me same time last year and boy oh boy, I was so bloated and swollen. Have I kept a journal of myself during this weight loss journey? I do have online on my profile some pictures. Do you like getting your picture taken? Yes, I have always been fairly photogenic Did you like getting your picture taken pre op? YES, until I would see them. Have you kept a photo journal of your weight loss journey? MOST definitely-- only way to really convince yourself sometimes that you are LOSING weight! I line up in the same place in front of the refrigerator. Easy to compare where I fit within the edges/handles etc on the side by side. I used to be almost the entire size of the fridge NOW almost 1/2!!! BUT for me it is the SIDE view that shows the MOST changes. see the shrinking belly..... great feeling! AND now we have a NEW smaller pocket sized digital camera to haul around with us. I hope to get lots of pictures of me at CEDAR POINT in July!!!

Hi Jackie! This is a good question!! Do you like getting your picture taken? I have never been one that likes getting in on the pictures (unless I could hide behind people) Did you like getting your picture taken pre op? Heck no! There are so many pictures of my hubby with my kids and just a few of a large woman (me) with the kids in the foreground. I have really started taking more pics with my kids. They are growing so fast and now I can actualy stand to look at them. I just wanted to burn all the "solo" pics of me from before surgery. Have you kept a photo journal of your weight loss journey? I have taken some pictures... but I wish I had taken them every month front and side view. I actually smile in pictures now! ~Rachel

Do you like getting your picture taken? Now there are times that I actually break out my camera and ASK people to take my picture. Did you like getting your picture taken pre op? No way! That's the reason I was always the person with the camera. The only way I would have my picture taken was standing with my horse (she's usually the fit looking one on the left.) Have you kept a photo journal of your weight loss journey? I have pictures taken every month or so, but they're not specifically showing weight loss. It's more like, "lookie here, see what I can do now!" I do plan on updating my photo this week for my six month anniversary. Have a great week, everyone! Deb

I can't think of a strong enough word that says how much I hated pictures pre-op. There are VERY few pics of me for the last 10 years and sadly, that includes family pictures. Guess what is going to be in our Christmas cards this year.....? I FAMILY picture for the whole world to see. I do actually like getting my pic taken now as it helps me get a grip on my body image. At my step-sons homecoming from Iraq on Sat., we were posing for a family pic.....right in front of hubby's ex-wife (who is NOT nice and hadn't seen me since surgery) and I was LOVIN' it! Can't wait to get that picture back.....my mom took it. Jenni
