Hey guys, I know it has been a while since I posted. We went on vacation last week to Hot Springs and to Memphis and had a great time. I walked all over the parks and zoo without my thighs rubbing against each other and even got a few looks. Shhhh don't tell my hubby! I wanted to let you all know that I started summer school on Monday and drive 50 miles one way to be there at 7:30 am and am in class until 3:30pm. But instead of driving straight home, I have signed up for Core Conditioning, Total Body Strengthening and a Pilates class. I am working out an hour a day and although I am so sore I can hardly move, I feel great. I haven't exercised a bit since the surgery (today is my 6 month anniversary) but I am determined to do much better. So far so good. As far as the weight loss for today, I am down 90 pounds, went from size 22/24 and 2XL to size ................are you ready...............drumroll please.........................a size 8 and 10 (got in Old Navy 6's!!!!!) and a Large in shirts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was really hoping to be down 100 by the time I go for my 6 month checkup but I still have 19 days to get that other 10 pounds outa there. I have 23 more I want to lose and all this lose skin and bat wings... My friend just celebrated her 1 yr anniv in May and she lost 105 pounds, and I am right behind her at 6 months and almost in the same clothes. We started out in the same sizes. I am so happy!!! Well, just wanted to let you guys know that between commuting, school and the incredible overload of Graduate homework that us teachers have to do (and people say we have it easy and the summer off!- yeah right), I may not be able to post as often, but my thoughts are with you guys. I am trying to read the posts on my breaks when there is a computer available. Keep up the good work everybody. We are ALL doing great. Staci 253/163/140

WOW Staci You are doing a fabulous job. Just remember that when you start to exercise that fat turns to muscle and muscle weighs more than fat, soooo when your weight loss starts slowing down don't get discouraged, keep up the good work! Go treat yourself to something good, you deserve it! Jill

Wow Staci, You are doing terrific! We started off at the size. I am now in 10s and some 8's at The Gap and Old Navy! Isn't it amazing... I don't even remember ever wearing this size before. I think I was in the 6th or 7th grade when I was last in a size 7/8. You are doing so great and working out is only going to make you feel even better about yourself. I just started classes again this week and I haven't worked out in almost 2 weeks and it is killing me!! I miss it so much. I need to get my rear in gear though b/c I eat some things I shouldn't and I surely don't want the scale going up and not down! Keep up the good work and you drop in whenever you get a chance! ~Rachel 230/148/125
