I agree with you on the boiled peanuts Tracy. They are soooo good and it helps me get my protein in. I didnt know about the cholesterol thing so that is an added plus!!!
I can't do beef jerky, cant tolerate meat still, but I do munch on cracklins a bit, low fat triscuits and the deluxe nuts and pistachios too when I need to pump up on the protein. I am a cheese fanatic and love those little cheese blocks that are individually wrapped and string cheese too. I can take these to class with me and eat when I get hungry.
On a side note::: I looked at my semi naked preop pics last night with my friend and I honestly did not know I was that obese. It was scary and almost brought me to tears thinking of all that baggage I was carrying around. I am so glad I had this surgery and feel so much better.
