stall finally over
Whew, what a bummer.....my longest stall yet which I know wasn't all THAT long but I didn't like it. It is just hard when you know you're doing everything right (with eating and exercise) and nothing changes, but finally after 2 weeks of stalling, I lost 2 lbs. I have now lost 8 lbs for the month (my 6th) with 8 days to go till my anniversary. I'm getting so close to the century club, I can taste it....which has probably made the stall all that more upsetting....being so close. And the next milestone will be to be under 200....finally getting closer to that too. At 5'8", being under 200 will make me feel good!
what a ride...

Jenni, CONGRADULATIOS TO YOU You have done well. You are right there with me with getting to this century club. I am down -92 pds. but....... we will get there shortly. We came too far to not hit this wonderful century mark. I don't know how long it will take me but I will be patient. Keep up the good work and lets get to this mark shortly.... Lorraine
Good for you! I feel your recent "pain"
I am on a 1 month stall.....oh well. but the pants fit looser...who knows how you can LOSE SIZE and not LBS is beyond me and I can't blame it on muscle gain because I only exercised for the first time last night in MONTHS.
My hubby and I walked the dogs for 4+ miles and I even ran about 1/5th of a mile towards the end. I felt great. NO problems or pain or trouble breathing!
I hope I can stay motivated to get active...at least 3-4 x a week.
I hope the weather stays good!!! I can do without the bugs however!
HOPEFULLY that will be your last stall for quite some time!
I am glad to know that there are others out there stalling too. Last month I went on a protein shake for breakfast and dinner and a small lunch diet and I lost 12 pounds in 19 days. However, I was having some issues with dizziness, so I added some regular food back into my diet. I'm not saying that is what caused my stall, but I have been fighting to lose since. I see that it is happening to so many people at this time frame post-op though that I think it must just be normal. I've really been lucky in the fact that I have lost at least a pound pretty much every week since surgery, so this stall is driving me crazy. I am also at the -91 since the day I came home from surgery...however I have lost a total overall of 141 so although the century club is going to be a milestone, not as much of a milestone for me as getting under 200 was. I just get stressed because so many people make it under 200 and then seem to never get to their goal or even close...they just hang out in the 180-190's. I admit I am a lot happier with my weight now than before....but I want to lose the rest and I feel like I am eating pretty well and exercising and getting in my fluids....so I guess it is just catch up time for my body, especially since I did lose 12 pounds in 19 days.
