HAPPY 6 months to our shrinking 12-8-03 friends!!
Well, can you believe that it has been 6, yes, 6 months?!?!?!
I hope that everyone has had a smooth journey these months. Mine has been incredibly easy and I am amazed at the results.
I have gone from a size 22-24 to a 10~from 245 lbs to 149 lbs and from hurting and lacking energy to walking 3 miles 4x per week and accomplishing so much around the house
I had hoped to be -100 lbs today, but -96 is close enough for me
Tomorrow I see my surgeon for my 6 mo check up. I hope all labs still look good.
So, here is to the next 6 months. May we all be happy and above all HEALTHY~ Hugs Kimberly
It is so hard to beleive it has been 6 months already! 104 pounds gone FOREVER!!!! This was the best thing that I could have ever done for myself. I had such bad back pain, terrible GERD, Sleep apnea, etc. It is ALL GONE now. I still have a ways to go to get toward my goal, but I feel awesome! Thanks to all of you for your support also. I will be getting my updated picture taken this week and will send it in for my profile. Hugs to you all!

Howdy all,
I don't post here often, but usually on the Iowa boards. I thought that I would begin reading/posting here as well. Today is my 6 month anniversary also. Last weight check on May 19th, I was down 90 pounds. My husband said that it sure seems like I am down at least 100 now, (as he gave me a piggy back ride around the house). For those of you that don't know me, I am down from a size 30-32 to 22. I walk at least 2 miles 3 times a week. I continue to be amazed at the changes in me - for example, last night I rode a bike for the first time in about 15-20 years. Wow!!! Isn't life grand? I thank God for this opportunity!
God bless,
Andrea
Congratulations to each and every one of you. I didn't make my 100lb goal I was short by like 6.7lbs on our 6 month anniversary. I made the 100 lbs a week later which was fine. I'm SO sick of wearing 26/28 clothes. I keep hitting the plateaus and it's extremely disheartening. I want to be able to move to the next lower size but the lack of change in clothes size doesn't motivate one to continue to exercise and whatnot. Any advice?
