CAN'T WORK OUT

Hi there and good Sunday morning to you guys. I hope everybody is well and feeling good.Tomorrow is my therapy that I am really looking forward to. I do enjoy talking to someone who is on the outside looking in. I can tell him anything and he is not so close to the situation. Anyway last week I did something to me knee and it really hurts. I think just being in nursing has weakened them and also that all those years I carried all that weight on them and my legs are thin,and always have been so they are I could not workout at Curves last week only once. It is just too painful. I have an orthopedic appointment on Thursday so maybe I can get a cortisone shot to ease it up. I have had 3 scopes on the knee and I am certainly not ready for more surgery right now ;-( I think I will freeze my Curves membership until it feels better. I am sure that will slow up my losing weight at this point but what can I do. YOU guys have a great day and if you can excersise do one lap for me OK? Lorraine

Lorraine, I'm sorry to hear that you've hurt you knee. I think it might have been the weight too. I have bad ankles and knees too. I hope that everything goes well for you at your appt. Let us know what he says! ~Rachel

Hey, Lorraine I'm feeling for you on the knee front. I have my follow-up ortho appointment on Thursday after my knee MRI last week. Too bad it's not the same ortho, we could have us a pity party right there. I get to find out then if the real problem with my knee is no ACL, leading to arthritis. It woud be nice to know what is causing the pain for sure, but some answers I just don't want to hear. I'll do a few extra minutes on the eliptical for you tomorrow morning, OK? Deb
