New BIKINI!!!! OMG

Hello to everyone, I just wanted to wish you all a happy weekend (yay it's Friday!). I am trying to do better and post more often than I have been and keep everyone up on my progress and try to give you all a few giggles here and there. Here's something to laugh about.... I just received my new bikini in the mail that I ordered from JCPenney online catalog. Get this $107!!!!! Including S&H, but that's ridiculous! Anyway, It has a regular bikini top (UNDERWIRE) and the bottom has an attached skirt. Shows lots of belly! (ugh) But I put it on and my normally VERY CRITICAL 11 year old daughter said "Mommy, THAT'S CUTE!" Who knew?! So, if I get the Lindsay seal of approval, I guess it is OK! I know I am no supermodel, or any kind of model, but I love getting tan and if they see my bypass scar and a couple stretchmarks peeking out, so be it! If they don't like it, Don't Look! I actually had the nerve to wear my (homemade cut down from a 1 piece, but nice) bikini to the Spring on Wednesday, I was surprised, People talked to me, no nasty looks or comments!!! And even though it was black, no one pushed me back into the water! (free willie) I had such a nice time with my daughter and it was such a lovely day that we stayed for 3 hours in full sun and I burned my belly! I was already very tan but the belly really got it. Now, it figures, I get the new bikini in the mail today when I can't even look at a beach for a while until this burn goes away. OH well, you can bet I will be back soon! You GO girl! I went bathing suit shopping today and was THRILLED to be in an 18! I was excited about that so I guess when I get to the two piece set I'll be ecstatic! Enjoy the weekend. Jill

Good for you Tracy! If a bikini makes you happy then I say go for it! I on the other hand... don't have the nerve to get near a bikini yet. I do have a new bathingsuit (size 12) and its a bright purple SPEEDO!! My hubby thought that was funny. We are going to the lake tomorrow with the boys and I just can't wait! Good for you Tracy!!!! I have been looking for bathing suits and need one with some underwire--without the wire it looks like tube socks hanging!!!!!!! I got to try JC Penney....keep up the good work. Here in Ohio its not warm enough to swim yet...hopefully next week. I have a pool and am dying to get a tan too.
