QOD 6/2
Hello......Looks like it is going to be a beautiful day here in Iowa.....after a few weeks of rain and yucky weather....today looks great so far!!!
I know Tracy asked this before awhile back but here it goes again: How is your sleeping.....I have always been a great sleeper....I love to sleep...But lately I wake up with terrible aches and cramps in my neck and back.....I have always loved my pillows and bed.....But now after losing 100 and some pounds it seems like I am sleeping different and hurtting myself.....is anyone else experiencing this, or know what to do for it??? My neck hurts!!! Have a great day everyone Jesi
I was born with hip dysplasia, so I know what you mean. I had to sleep with a pillow between my knees, and by my chest to keep the starin off my back. And now I find myself sleeping on my stomach........its weird. I haven't had increased back pain, but I did notice that my hips were "popping" alot more. I started taking a different suppliment, and I haven't had any further problems. Maybe you should consult a chiropractor?
Hi Jesi,
I had to change pillows. As you lose the weight and your body changes your old pillow no longer accomodates your new shape. I had to go to a less fluffy pillow as my head is now closer to the bed than it used to be. That solved my neck problems. Time to buy new clothes AND new pillows!
My sleeping patterns have changed again. Now that school is out my schedule changed and so did my sleep schedule. I am all screwed up now, I'm hoping that this will level out soon. I am tired all of the time. I feel like I could sleep always! Have a great day! Tracy
I'm pretty much the opposite. Untreated sleep apnea had me sleeping like s**t for years. How was I to know I was waking up 30 times an hour?
Anyway, since the first 30 pounds or so, I've been sleeping like the dead (that is, if the dead dream!) Recently I've had some problems with leg cramps and pain from my knee, but they aren't really keeping me awake. Just a brief annoyance before I'm back ing.
Hope you're sleeping well again soon. It makes such a big difference in my attitude. Deb
I slept great before...it was my hubby that couldn't sleep because of my snoring! Now I don't snore anymore-- he claims. I don't know any differently
The only thing I notice now is that I sleep in more positions...side, side/stomach etc....and my knee bones hurt/rub...I am waiting for my HIP bones to escape my belly fat and stick out again!
soon soon soon
OMG I cant believe this I thought I was the only one who felt this way! I am soooo sore when I wake up! Is it the loss of weight or los of muscle? This is a very good question and I'm glad your asking it I just wish I knew the answer! I guess I'll hold off on buying a new mattress liek I was planning!

Hi Jesi,
I have pain in my butt, of all places. I broke the tailbone 20 years ago and now, with so much less padding, it creates pressure points when I sit too long or lie on my back. I bought a new mattress, Select Comfort, one of those air ones, and the pressure point pain in my hips has gone, but not in the butt. My PCP says I now have a boney butt. Who'd ever figured that one?
But with the weight loss, my knees and bones rub and push and will, until the weight evens out. But I sleep good, for the most part.
