Q.O.D 5/27
One thing? There are so many. Can I list my top fav 5? Here we go:
1. Scratching my back when I can't find the back scratcher and reaching the itch just with my hands.
2. Sitting crossed legged on the couch and nothing falls asleep.
3. Fitting into the dentist chair and not have my hips hanging over the sides while she works on my teeth.
4. Wearing panty hose that fit, all the way up and down.
5. Last, but definately not least, new postitions in the intimate dept, with my hubby.
Hello Everyone, we've missed you Jackie, glad you are doing ok. I know it's hard to see them graduate, I have one that graduated in 2000 and one will graduate in 2007...
What is one thing that you find so much easier to do now that you have lost weight?
I have to agree that the intimate department with my husband has been tons better. He's lost 20+ pounds too so we're having a great time.
I have to say though even a little thing like walking has been a lot better! I use to dread it and now I look forward to it!!
And yes shaving the legs is a lot easier now too!!
Have a great Thursday!

BTW- I've finally hit the big 80! Look out 90 here I come!
In a word..........EVERYTHING!
put on and tie my shoes
cross my legs
get excited about getting dressed
mow the lawn
go for long walks with my friend
shave my legs
shave my underarms (too much fat there before....it was "squishy"
keep up with my kids' activities
clean the house
I could go on and on but you get the picture!

The one thing I find easier to do is walk up stairs. Before surgery, I couldn't make it- my knees would give out and I would literally be dizzy from being so out of breath.
Of course, there are many more also. I too am able to be a little more open with the intimacy, but here lately, I just could care less if I had it or not. I would rather sleep. Are any of you experiencing this. I had promised my husband if I had this surgery, I would feel so much better about myself and my body and would be willing to be more spontaneous but I have no libido whatsoever. Sorry guys- I know this may be territory you don't care to read.
Any suggestions? I am on HRT and antidepressants but were on both before the surgery so I don't know what is up with this lull.
