Update on my Mom

My Mother had surgery on Monday to repair an Aneurysm. When they were in there, they found a second Aneurysm and repaired that one as well. I am so happy to report that she is doing absolutely fabulous!! She is getting up from bed to use the restroom, conversing well with everyone, her memory is fine, she is eating solid food and she is in great spirits (although she keeps telling the Neurosurgeon that her head hurts and he keeps telling her she just had brain surgery ) ! She is going to be moved from the intensive care unit to a regular room today and there is the slight chance she will be discharged tomorrow if oral pain meds can control her pain. Thank you all for your prayers.

GREAT news!!!!!!! I bet her head hurts at least she has a sense of humor!

Laura, I am so happy MOM is great. I did have her in my prayers. I work in a hospital and when the patients come to our floor which is a regular floor they are so happy to be upgraded from the ICU. I will continue to pray for her recovery..... Have a good day............Lorraine
