Is Something Wrong?

Hey guys. I had quite a scare this morning. I passed quite a lot of blood this morning. I called Carrie at Dr. Gibbs office and she told me since I am so far away, go to my PCP, that it could be something as serious as a complication with the surgery or something minor like a bleeding ulcer or hemmoroids. This has never happened before but I have made an appointment. I feel it is something minor since I have done so well with the surgery. My body never wants to act right though. It gives me fits almost daily. I just don't want another surgery. My New Years Resolution was to go a full year without ANY surgeries. I've had four in the past two years and me and my pocket book are sick of them..... I'll keep you guys posted, just say a prayer, just in case... Staci

Staci, yes, go to the doc but I've had the same thing going on......it is from the estrogen being released into the bloodstream from the fat breakdown. I am going to be having a D&C on Wed. to take care of my problem.....hoping it works! Yours could be something else, but that is my experience! Hope all is OK! Jenni

Hi there Staci, Where did the blood come from your urine or your rectum. You did not mention it. I am sure you are OK. Keep us posted ...... LORRAINE

I'm sorry, I guess that would be a useful piece of information, wouldn't it? I was bleeding from my rectum. The doctor's office said it was probably a bleeding ulcer or hemorroids rather than complications from the WLS. She said I would be experiencing fatigue, dizziness and possibly a fever if it was something other. That's a good thing! I will go see my PCP tomorrow. Keep you posted. Staci

Oops, with that additional information, disregard my post!! Mine was more about menstral bleeding! But I am betting it is all going to be OK......let us know! Jenni
