Hi there guys Now............think about that our 6 month anniversarys are coming up. Have all your expectations of the surgeries been positive? Are there any negativites? Did you think you would be where you are on this anniversary approaching? weight loss wise? Is your health getting better after this WLS? Now........Tell me your expectations for you next 6 months. Yes all my expectations have been positive. My weight loss has been great. I did have alot of negative feelings with my digestion problems and vomiting I was tired of that part. It has passed me now . I am where I thought I would be on this anniversary, and a bit more. I expected to lose about 50 pds. Yes of course my health is much better . No more insulin or diabetic meds. Most of all no more pain from the DIABETIC NUEROPATHY. My expectations for the next 6 months will be to get to goal and stabilize so I can finally buy a wardrobe instead of just 1 pair of pants at a time. OK GUYS HAPPY FRIDAY TO ALL OF YOU AND HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND. You guys are my strength " GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU" LORRAINE

Hi Lorraine! I have been so blessed through this whole journey, so far. I have had very few difficulties, only a couple of minor dumping episodes and hormonal mood swings. I really have nothing but positive feelings about the surgery. Even my scar is a reminder of where I have come from, and how great life is now. I really didn't have any idea where I would be weight wise, but I never expected to be able to buy a size 14 that fit anytime this summer (well, that fit me, anyway), like I did yesterday. We have a brand new outlet mall that opened here wednesday, and I was shopping in the skinny girl sizes! I haven't worn a size 14 since my honeymoon, and we're not saying how many years ago that was. I was crying in the fitting room when I had to have the girl get me a smaller size. Ah, happy hormones. My health is so much better. I'm off of all meds, off of the CPAP, and loving exercise. My only health problem is a sore knee that I'll be seeing the ortho for on monday. I probably did the actual damage to the knee when I was still much heavier, and I'm seeing it now because of all the exercise. My PCP thinks minescal(sp?) tear, which I had to have fixed once before when I was abusing the knees with all the weight. Expectations for the next 6 months? Hopefully I'll get down another 30 or so pounds, level off and learn to maintain. I'm expecting to increase my running to the point where I can run a 5k sometime late summer or early fall. And, of course, I'm going to be saving my pennies for PS. And I'm also looking forward to buying a wardrobe that fits, instead of a piece here and there. I love not having my multi-size closet anymore, just would sure like to have a whole lot more that fits. Hey, how about if I put on all the way too big clothes and send videos of myself in to "What Not To Wear"? I'd love to have them tell me how to dress and get stuff that fits. LOL. Great weekend everyone, Deb
