60 lbs finally ~4 1/2 months!!!
The scale finally hit -60 this morning....exactly -60 no .2, .4, .6, .8's!!!! 40-50 lbs to go. I am at 189 from 249 pre op. Wearing an 18 pants...so whatever gets me into a 10/12 ish weight is fine with me.
I didn't do very well on my mini vacation with my water, protein or supplements but I did get in a decent amount of walking and a few inclines at that!
Niagara Falls was a good time! We got upgraded to a Fallsview Jacuzzi Suite room (but I was with my Aunt so NO romance happening there!) and we forgot bathing suits anyways. They had an awesome indoor pool with slide and waterfall as well....oh well. Not that I am willing to go out in public wearing a bathing suit quite yet.
We went to foo foo HIGH Tea at the Prince of Wales Inn (place I can't afford to spend the night in!). I was slightly good and got DECAF tea but I did put milk and SF sweetner in it! AND I ate and drank at the same time. There were sooo many goodies to enjoy and I didn't want to wait!
We were served our own tea pots in beautiful flowery print bone china and real silver utensils. They brought out the silver 3 tiered tray piled high with scones, finger sandwiches, and desserts...it was heaven! Each table had a fresh rose arrangement that smelled heavenly and we were treated wonderfully. The waitresses all had black dresses with starched white aprons--- it was soooo BRITISH!
I can't wait to go back to Australia for good tea and scones!
mmmmm just isn't the same when I have it here in the States.
I even bought a souvernir t-shirt in a size LARGE...a bit snug thru the hips but if I tuck it in-- fits perfectly!
Well this weekend is Miami....no clue what to pack. I know it will be miserably HOT HOT HOT...and this pale white chick doesn't take kindly to the sun/humidity. I hope I don't combust!
Congrats, Shannon!
You're really cruisin' now!
I live an hour away from Miami, and I can tell you that we've been having the MOST fantastic weather this year! Right now, it's MUCH drier and breezier than usual - hope it lasts for your visit! We're a little beyond when things start changing, though, so you can expect some P.M. thunderstorms, temps in mid to upper 80s, and at least a little humidity, not our usual torrid 98 percent!
Light capris and shorts will do ya. Nights are warm enough - no sweaters needed outdoors!
What will you be doing in Miami? Business or fun? What part? Hope you have a good time!
