QOD 5/12/04

Hello all I have yet to get on early enough to NOT see a QOD and since there still isn't one I thought I'd go for it!!!! I hope it's not too late in the day to catch people's interest What amount makes you full these days? Give some examples of what amounts of what foods really make you full/ and or even sick and maybe some that you can eat a LOT of... define A LOT For me I get a perfect full from a Light n FIt yogurt with a bit of kashi cereal, or one piece of deli ham (not the thin kind) with a piece of swiss cheese, or about 8-10 ritz crackers. I can eat popcorn for days.......... and I can 2 string cheeses and not feel full. If I try to eat sliced cheddar and crackers, anything over 5 of each makes me sick (even tho I still pu**** sometimes ) For some STRANGE STRANGE reason... popsicles and jello still fill me up real quick I know its weird.... but true... one popsicle and im full or one of those jello cups and thats it!!! Hi Shawna Breakfast was a protein bar. For lunch today I had 2 small hamburger patties with cheese. I ate about 90% of it. Dinner will be a handfull of almonds and I'll have 6 popcicles befor going to bed. Darrol 450/336/?

Well, I don't eat the same thing every day but today, I had half a banana for breakfast. For lunch I had two chicken strips at Chic-fil-A and about 1/4 of a salad. For dinner last night I ate 3 and 1/4 of these little quiche from Sam's. Not a lot but filling just the same. LOL Oh after breakfast if I eat a banana I will later have a handful of nuts, preferebly cashews but I will have peanuts on occassion. I also may have a CIB later in the day to help make up for the protien I didn't have at breakfast.

Well let me see...in the mornings I usually eat 2 hard boiled eggs or a Banana Scream protien shake and satisifies me until around 11:30. For lunch today I ate 3/4 of the turkey mediallions out of my Lifestyles frozen dinner but I usually can have a cup of soup and be good. For dinner last night I had a chicken wing and thigh from KFC (they were pretty small) and about 3 bites of my son's mac and cheese (I know, I know..what a nono...but it tasted good just the same. And then before bed I had one spoonful of my low carb vanilla ice cream with a cup of Diet A & W for a mini root beer float...that was the first time I tried that...I was a little too full, but I think I would have been fine if I wouldn't of had the macaroni with dinner. Sometimes I think I eat too much...but then when I actually write it down it really isn't that much. Things that make me sick...any fruit except a banana is too sweet for me. I get really nausas. And I can not eat beef unless it is really tender or ground...but I prefer Chicken and Turkey these days anyway. Chris 354/294/???

Hello Shawna, Different foods I can eat different amounts. I can't eat anything dry without a sip of something fluid or it will feel like it is stuc****il I throw up. I was not getting in my protein for a couple of months due to this and noticed if I take a sip of drink, it STAYS down. I know it is breaking the rules, but at least now I know I get my protein in and still losing weight. Anything is better than throwing up every time you eat! Life CHoice Meals, new FAB TV dinners, low in carbs, high in protein, I can eat an entire 10 ounce meal minus the gravy and minus the red peppers, probly about 8 ounces total of BEEF and green beans! That a lot! Lunch meat, 1-1.5 slices and I feel sick/full. Popcorn too, could eat it all day, I can eat about 2 ounces of beef jerky at a time. The way I look at it...I could have eaten 10 times what I am eating now! I could also eat ALL DAY LONG!!! I can't do that anymore and as long as the weight loss keeps up, I must be doing OK! I had a plateau that lasted about 3 weeks, last month from the 12th to the 12th I only lost 7 pounds (9 if you count the two I lost this afternoon) Plateaus come and go, part of losing weight. Discouraging, but part of it. I'm rambling, just trying to make you feel better though! You are doing great! Tracy 251/178.8/125

The thing that fills me up quicker than anything else is tuna! A couple of bites and I am sooooo full. Now Cheetos I can eat and eat and eat and eat Just kidding!
