New to December 2003 Surgery Date

Hi, my name is Linda. My surgery was on Dec. 30, 2003. My highest weight was 389, and as of Friday, I am down 108 lbs, I'm at 281. I feel great, other than I'm still having some nausea at times, but I guess that is to be expected. I had a rummage sale today and got rid of a bunch of my "Fat" clothes, that felt so good. I work at a Family Practice Dr's office, so I have access to a scales everyday and I'm compulsive about weighing myself everyday. I know I shouldn't, but it's so hard not to.

Linda--welcome. I found this board kinda "late" too.....just a couple months ago. I love checking in with other Decemberites! I'm a daily weigher too. I've learned to tolerate stalls well, so I think it works for me. Of course, the longest stalls I've had have been 11 days and 9 days so not sure how well I will do with a 3 week one...and it will probably come someday. Glad your on board with us! Jenni -82

Congratulations Linda! I weigh every day! For so long I dreaded the sight of scales and would go months and months without ever really knowing how much I weighed. I delight in getting on the scales now!
