HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL MY FRIENDS
Hi to all my December 2003 friends here and all others *****ad this. I just want to take the time to wish all you guys a "HAPPY MOTHERS DAY". I dont know what I would do without the support of you guys here. I look forward to reading messages, answering questions, and just posting advice if I can help. I also take the advice that you guys give. Life is gettting better on the lighter side for me , I have lost over 80 pds. I am starting to be able to digest better, NO MORE I did that for 3 months straight. No wonder I lost 65 pds so fast. Anyway just letting you guys know you are great ... Tracy you are the greatest, and all of you guys post some good questions. I dont have time for a support group but this is better than some of those meetings I have been to.... to all . Have a good day and to all of you ...Lorraine
Happy Mothers Day to you too Lorraine!
I feel the same way as you. I don't know what I would do without the support of my Decemberites family! This IS my support group! I love the advice and support that I get here, you are all wonderful! Thank you Lorraine for mentioning me personally! I happen to think that you are pretty great too!!! Thanks to you and everyone for making my WLS journey just a little bit easier! Much love,
Tracy
This will be a difficult Mothers Day for me. Last year my Mother was in really bad shape on Mothers Day. We had just put her in a nursing home because we could no longer provide the nursing care she needed due to her cancer. It was so sad to see her that way. She died the next Saturday, just one day before the 6th anniversary of my Dad's death. So this will be the first Mother's Day for me that I have no Mother. My family (husband & kids) never make a fuss about Mother's Day or any other holiday for that matter. I think I will get a flower & visit Mom's grave & then just have a day to myself.
Today I went to a funeral & while dressing discovered that even my new clothes are getting too big. I may splurge & go shopping.
To those of you who have Mothers, please give them a big hug & tell them you love them.
