How much have you lost so far?
Hi! I had my open rny on 12/1/03, I weighed in at 311 and am now at 239. Down 71. I have some of the same frustrations. I lose a pound and gain two. Oh my goodness how annoying. It's especially bad around period time so I try not to take to heart. I am doing what I am suppose to be so slow is the way it is to be for me. I just have to accept it and move on!

Thank you so much everyone! I know we are not suppose to compare, but it is nice to know you are NOT abnormal or somthing! LOL..
I am so glad we have this message board and we all share with each other. I really love the support we all give each other. I hope to this month loose another 10 pounds. I don't think that is an unrealistic goal? Take care Everyone and have a wonderful day! I need to get a up to date pic on here soon!
Hugs,
Sandy
Well, I started this whole process at 336 last May. I lost down to a low of 270 and that was after fleet prep for surgery. When I came home from surgery though I was at 286. Today I am at 208, so I have lost 78 pounds since I came home from surgery and a grand total of 128 pounds since May of last year!

Thank goodness the slower losers checked in! I was getting depressed by this thread! LOL I gained 5 pounds immediately prior to surgery sending me to 288 and todays weight is 218. I lose in fits and spurts too- usually related to my monthly cycle. I wanted to be at 180 by June 20 for a trip to Kansas but I will be happy with 200 or so. I lose about 2 to 2.5 pounds a week.
I definately wish I were losing faster but I am going to be at goal before the end of the year- when could I have ever said that in my past life?

Hi,
Ifeel like the SLOWEST loser here. I had my surgery on 12/4 and have lost 51 pounds. I have done well until this past month, where I have stabized at 206 ( I started at 257 on day of surgery, was 262 when I started being evaluated for surgery). I am happy with my progress, but dont like being stalled where I am. Any advice for me?
