Q.O.D 5/3 Part 2
I have the type of personality that easily gets obsessed with stuff
Beanie Babies were a bad thing for me. It wasn't so much that I wanted them, it was more that I want what I can't have or can't find I never bought the really expensive ones, but I dragged my poor hubby all over any town we visited looking for different ones. Now I wonder, what am I supposed to do with a box full of fluff?

I collect several things.. But they dont just sit on a shelf I use them.. I have tons of wind chimes. I also collect angels. And my husband says I collect pictures.. That is cause when ever I get a chance I'm taking pictures and then every little snap shot goes in a frame and is displayed somewhere... Kim
Hello,
Those damn Barbies got me! For about two years I went everywhere collected all the good ones. Got nothing but Barbies for gifts (What I wanted at the time) Now I have about 50 Barbies in the top of my closet (On special shelves that my husband made just for them) All brand new in thier boxes, never been opened. Know anyone who wants to buy 50 Barbies? Cheap?! Tracy
Jackie,
Barbies were my hangup for years wound up with a collection of about 150 thinking I might have a granddaughter one day, but when "she" wound up being a boy, I sold the entire collection with the exception of my first Barbie from when I was three.
Coca Cola collectibles were my kitchen decor for about 3 or 4 years, got tired of those and sold them too.
Angels for the last several years are now starting to diminish due to yard sales.
Have a bunch of antiques that belonged to my grandparents that I am now trying to sell.
Needless to say, I am a pack rat, but as I get older, my taste seems to be gravitating towards simplification and less clutter!!!
I am ready for a clean sweep and plan on making one this summer while I am on school break!!!
Thanks for the question,

Hi! Collection... Hmmmmmm. Yep I collect Noah's Ark stuff and dolls (just any kind of dolls). But I have to say that I'm slowing down. I also have a small collection of creamor and sugars. I'm trying to hold myself back from buying anymore stuff! Now I want to be a clothes collector when I get in the size I want to be in.

Well we went thru a beanie baby phase...Our extra bedroom has shelves on 3 walls and the BB's are stacked up all the way around the room. We refer to it as the Beanie Room
I collected most anything except for the dogs, bears and cats. I liked the exoticm, aquatic and feathered animals more! I do have few of the others but my preferences lean towards the less popular critters.
Hubby has a shot glass collection from places we visit. Other than that I can't think of anything specific we collect. I try to seek out unique items from our travels-- opals, didjeridoo and boomerang from Australia..not sure what to pick up from New Zealand...will have to check it our when I get there but there must be some sort of Native Maori tribal stuff of interest.
